The Center on Race, Poverty and the Environment

edit

Perhaps someone from this WikiProject could take a look at The Center on Race, Poverty and the Environment and assess it (particularly with respect to WP:NORG and WP:NOBLE). The article was created directly in the main space by a student participating in a WP:WEP affiliated university course; so, it never really underwent any type of formal assessment (e.g. WP:AFC) and it doesn't seem to have yet been reviewed by WP:NPP. -- Marchjuly (talk) 01:04, 2 December 2024 (UTC)Reply

I can take a look. I really would be better if these student articles used Articles for Creation which is designed to help new editors. Rublamb (talk) 21:21, 21 December 2024 (UTC)Reply

Status of WikiProject Organizations

edit

The WP now has a notice indicating that it is believed to be inactive. I was curious to find out if any members are still interested or involved. Recently, WikiProject Fraternities and Sororities has been looking at groups on our list that overlap with WP:ORGZ and may be a better fit for this project. However, things get complicated if we drop articles with the expectation that they would fall under a defunct WikiProject. I know it was proposed several years back that this WP merge with WP:Companies. I believe there is a difference but it is not really my call. Is the thought that educational organizations would fall under WP:UNI (who is unaware of this and not really interested) and that all others would be considered companies? Or did this group just quietly die off with no closure or planning? Rublamb (talk) 21:20, 21 December 2024 (UTC)Reply
