Challenges for Mobile Hydrostatic Levelling Systems applied in accelerator environments / Bestmann, Patrick (CERN) ; Werkland, Aron Strom (Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) (NO))
The research for automated measurement solutions for the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) is a key point for future developments and of extreme importance for even bigger accelerators like the Future Circular Collider (FCC) where manual measurements are almost excluded due to the very large scale of the future machine. Hydrostatic Levelling System Going Mobile / Bestmann, P (CERN) ; Barreto, C (CERN) ; Charrondiere, C (CERN)
The LHC Collimator Survey Train has alreadyshown that automated survey measurements in theLHC are technically feasible [1]. Nevertheless manyconstraints apply when making automated measure-ments in an accelerator environment. [...]

Production and quality control of the GEM GE2/1 detector for the upgrade of the CMS endcap muon system / Kim, Mi Ran (Sungkyunkwan U.) /CMS Collaboration
The Compact Muon Solenoid (CMS) experiment is a general-purpose detector installed in the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). The future High Luminosity-LHC (HL-LHC) will provide a factor of 7 increase in luminosity compared with the design value of the LHC. [...]

Study and extrapolation of the H$\, \rightarrow \, \mu \bar{\mu}$ performances to full Run 3 luminosity and High Luminosity - LHC / Thakore, Mitanshu
Since the discovery of the Higgs boson in 2012 by the ATLAS and the CMS collaborations at CERN, the interactions of the Higgs boson with the other fundamental particles are continuously studied at different mass scales [...]

A proposed Drift Tubes-seeded muon track trigger for the CMS experiment at the High Luminosity-LHC / Pozzobon, Nicola (INFN, Padua ; Padua U.) ; Lazzizzera, Ignazio (INFN, Padua ; Trento U.) ; Vanini, Sara (INFN, Padua ; Padua U.) ; Zotto, Pierluigi (INFN, Padua ; Padua U.) /CMS Collaboration
The LHC program at 13 and 14 TeV, after the observation of the candidate SM Higgs boson, will help clarify future subjects of study and shape the needed tools. Any upgrade of the LHC experiments for unprecedented luminosities, such as the High Luminosity-LHC ones, must then maintain the acceptance on electroweak processes that can lead to a detailed study of the properties of the candidate Higgs boson. CMS Silicon Tracker upgrade for HL-LHC / Mersi, Stefano (CERN) /for the CMS Collaboration
LHC is expected to increase its luminosity above the original nominal value of $\mathrm{10^{34} cm^{-2}s^{-1}}$, eventually achieving an order of magnitude increase after major upgrades will be performed after 2020. This configuration of the machine is known as High Luminosity-LHC (HL-LHC). CMS needs a completely new tracking system to maintain adequate performance in the HL-LHC environment and to provide tracking information for the Level-1 trigger decision. The most relevant requirements and constraints are summarized, along with highlights from some of the R\&D; activities..

Prospects for HH measurements in the WW$\gamma\gamma$ and $\tau\tau\gamma\gamma$ final states in proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s}=14$ TeV at the High Luminosity-LHC /CMS Collaboration
Prospects for nonresonant Higgs boson pair production measurements in the WW$\gamma\gamma$ and $\tau\tau\gamma\gamma$ final states in proton-proton collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of 14 TeV with the upgraded Phase-2 CMS detector at the High-Luminosity LHC (HL-LHC) are presented. The study is performed using generated events that passed DELPHES fast simulation of the CMS detector with an average of 200 proton-proton interactions per bunch crossing and an integrated luminosity of 3000 fb$^{-1}$..

High-current low-voltage power supplies for superconducting magnets / Coulinge, Emilien (CERN) ; Burnet, Jean-Paul (CERN) ; Dujic, Drazen (Ecole Polytechnique, Lausanne)
In a synchrotron accelerator, the beam trajectory is controlled thanks to magnets, where superconducting technology allows to generate very strong magnetic fields. This was a key element in the construction of the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), the world largest accelerator. [...]
