Nonthermal Heavy Dark Matter from a First-Order Phase Transition / Giudice, Gian F. ; Lee, Hyun Min ; Pomarol, Alex ; Shakya, Bibhushan
We study nonthermal production of heavy dark matter from the dynamics of the background scalar field during a first-order phase transition, predominantly from bubble collisions. [...]

Phenomenology and Cosmology of an Electroweak Pseudo-Dilaton and Electroweak Baryons / Campbell, Bruce A. (Carleton U. ; CERN) ; Ellis, John (King's Coll. London ; CERN) ; Olive, Keith A. (Minnesota U., Theor. Phys. Inst.)
In many strongly-interacting models of electroweak symmetry breaking the lowest-lying observable particle is a pseudo-Goldstone boson of approximate scale symmetry, the pseudo-dilaton. Its interactions with Standard Model particles can be described using a low-energy effective nonlinear chiral Lagrangian supplemented by terms that restore approximate scale symmetry, yielding couplings of the pseudo-dilaton that differ from those of a Standard Model Higgs boson by fixed factors. Dark Matter as dark dwarfs and other macroscopic objects: multiverse relics? / Gross, Christian (Pisa U.) ; Landini, Giacomo (Pisa U.) ; Strumia, Alessandro (Pisa U.) ; Teresi, Daniele (CERN)
First-order phase transitions can leave relic pockets of false vacua and their particles, that manifest as macroscopic Dark Matter. We compute one predictive model: a gauge theory with a dark quark relic heavier than the confinement scale. [...]

Loop Dominated Signals from Neutrino Portal Dark Matter / Patel, Hiren H. (UC, Santa Cruz, Inst. Part. Phys. ; UC, Santa Cruz) ; Profumo, Stefano (UC, Santa Cruz, Inst. Part. Phys. ; UC, Santa Cruz) ; Shakya, Bibhushan (CERN)
We study scenarios where loop processes give the dominant contributions to dark matter decay or annihilation despite the presence of tree level channels. We illustrate this possibility in a specific model where dark matter is part of a hidden sector that communicates with the Standard Model sector via a heavy neutrino portal. [...]

A two-component vector WIMP — fermion FIMP dark matter model with an extended seesaw mechanism / Costa, Francesco (Gottingen U.) ; Khan, Sarif (Gottingen U.) ; Kim, Jinsu (CERN ; Tongji U., Shanghai)
We consider an extension of the Standard Model that explains the neutrino masses and has a rich dark matter phenomenology. The model has two dark matter candidates, a vector WIMP and a fermion FIMP, and the sum of their relic densities matches the total dark matter abundance. [...]

Dark Matter Freeze-In with a Heavy Mediator: Beyond the EFT Approach / Frangipane, Evan (UC, Santa Cruz) ; Gori, Stefania (UC, Santa Cruz) ; Shakya, Bibhushan (DESY ; CERN)
We study dark matter freeze-in scenarios where the mass of the mediator particle that couples dark matter to the Standard Model is larger than the reheat temperature, TRH, in the early Universe. In such setups, the standard approach is to work with an effective field theory (EFT) where the mediator is integrated out. [...]
