Forward-backward asymmetry in $B\to D^{*}\ell\nu$: One more hint for scalar leptoquarks? / Carvunis, Alexandre (Annecy, LAPTH) ; Crivellin, Andreas (CERN ; Zurich U. ; PSI, Villigen) ; Guadagnoli, Diego (CERN ; Annecy, LAPTH) ; Gangal, Shireen (Annecy, LAPTH)
Experimental data have provided intriguing hints for the violation of lepton flavour universality (LFU), including $B\to D^{(*)}\tau\nu/B\to D^{(*)}\ell\nu$, the anomalous magnetic moment of the muon and $b\!\to\! s\ell^+\ell^-$ with a significance of $\!>3\,\sigma$, $>\!4\,\sigma$ and $>\!5\,\sigma$, respectively. Furthermore, in a recent re-analysis of 2018 Belle data, it was found that the forward-backward asymmetry ($\Delta A_{\rm FB}$) of $B \to D^{*}\mu\bar \nu$ vs $B\to D^{*}e\bar \nu$ disagrees with the SM prediction by $\approx\!\!4\,\sigma$, providing an additional sign of LFU violation. Combined Explanation of the $Z\to b\bar b$ Forward-Backward Asymmetry, the Cabibbo Angle Anomaly, $\tau\to\mu\nu\nu$ and $b\to s\ell^+\ell^-$ Data / Crivellin, Andreas (CERN ; PSI, Villigen ; Zurich U.) ; Manzari, Claudio Andrea (PSI, Villigen ; Zurich U.) ; Alguero, Marcel (Barcelona, Autonoma U. ; Barcelona, IFAE) ; Matias, Joaquim (Barcelona, Autonoma U. ; Barcelona, IFAE)
In this article we propose a simple model which can provide a combined explanation of the $Z\to b\bar b$ forward-backward asymmetry, the Cabibbo Angle Anomaly (CAA), $\tau\to\mu\nu\nu$ and $b\to s\ell^+\ell^-$ data. This model is obtained by extending the Standard Model (SM) by two heavy vector-like quarks (an $SU(2)_L$ doublet (singlet) with hypercharge $-5/6$ (-1/3)), two new scalars (a neutral and a singly charged one) and a gauged $L_\mu-L_\tau$ symmetry. $B$ anomalies in the post $R_{K^{(*)}}$ era / Hurth, T. (Mainz U., Inst. Phys. ; U. Mainz, PRISMA) ; Mahmoudi, F. (IP2I, Lyon ; CERN ; IUF, Paris) ; Neshatpour, S. (IP2I, Lyon ; INFN, Naples)
We discuss the status of $b \to s \ell^+\ell^-$ decays in the post-$R_{K^{(*)}}$ era. The recent LHCb update of $R_K$ and $R_{K^*}$ measurements which are now compatible with the Standard Model, constrain new physics contributions to be lepton flavor universal, allowing only small deviations from this limit. Beyond the standard model effective field theory with $B \rightarrow c \tau^- \overline{\nu}$ / Burgess, C.P. (McMaster U. ; Perimeter Inst. Theor. Phys. ; CERN) ; Hamoudou, Serge (Montreal U.) ; Kumar, Jacky (Montreal U. ; TUM-IAS, Munich) ; London, David (Montreal U.)
Electroweak interactions assign a central role to the gauge group $SU(2)_L \times U(1)_Y$, which is either realized linearly (SMEFT) or nonlinearly (e.g., HEFT) in the effective theory obtained when new physics above the electroweak scale is integrated out. Although the discovery of the Higgs boson has made SMEFT the default assumption, nonlinear realization remains possible. [...]

Correlating $h\to\mu^+\mu^-$ to the Anomalous Magnetic Moment of the Muon via Leptoquarks / Crivellin, Andreas (CERN ; Zurich U. ; PSI, Villigen) ; Mueller, Dario (Zurich U. ; PSI, Villigen) ; Saturnino, Francesco (Bern U.)
Recently, both ATLAS and CMS measured the decay $h\to\mu^+\mu^-$, finding a signal strength with respect to the Standard Model expectation of $1.2\pm0.6$ and $1.19\substack{+0.41+0.17\\-0.39 -0.16}$, respectively. This provides, for the first time, evidence that the Standard Model Higgs couples to second generation fermions. [...]

Flavor anomalies in supersymmetric scenarios with nonminimal flavor violation / Boussejra, M.A. (IP2I, Lyon) ; Mahmoudi, F. (IP2I, Lyon ; CERN) ; Uhlrich, G. (IP2I, Lyon ; Geneva U.)
Motivated by tensions between experimental measurements and SM predictions in $b\to s \ell^+\ell^-$ transitions, we present the first study of non-minimal flavour-violating Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (MSSM) scenarios contributing to the relevant Wilson coefficients to address the observed anomalies using SuperIso and MARTY. We calculate the full one-loop analytical contributions of the general MSSM to Wilson coefficients relevant for flavour anomalies, together with the anomalous muon magnetic dipole moment $(g-2)_\mu$. Third order correction to semileptonic $b\to u$ decay: fermionic contributions / Fael, Matteo (CERN) ; Usovitsch, Johann (CERN)
We present the QCD corrections of order $\alpha_s^3$ to the decay rate of $b \to u \ell \bar \nu_\ell$, with $\ell = e,\mu$, originating from diagrams with closed fermion loops and neglecting the mass of the up quark. Our calculation relies on integration-by-parts reduction of Feynman integrals with one propagator raised to a symbolic power in Kira and the numerical evaluation of master integrals with AMFlow. Can the differences in the determinations of $V_{ub}$ and $V_{cb}$ be explained by New Physics? / Crivellin, Andreas (CERN) ; Pokorski, Stefan (Warsaw U.)
The precise determination of the CKM elements $V_{cb}$ and $V_{ub}$ is crucial for any new physics analysis in the flavour sector. Their values can be determined from several tree-level decays: $V_{cb}$ can be extracted from $B\to D\ell\nu$ and $B\to D^*\ell\nu$ while $V_{ub}$ can be obtained from $B\to \pi\ell\nu$, $B\to \rho\ell\nu$ and $B\to\tau\nu$. Interplay between flavor anomalies and neutrino properties / Freitas, Felipe F. (Aveiro U.) ; Gonçalves, João (Aveiro U.) ; Morais, António P. (Aveiro U. ; CERN) ; Pasechnik, Roman (Lund U., Dept. Theor. Phys. ; Lund U.) ; Porod, Werner (Wurzburg U.)
A minimal extension of the Standard Model (SM) featuring two scalar leptoquarks, an SU(2) doublet with hypercharge 1/6 and a singlet with hypercharge 1/3, is proposed as an economical benchmark model for studies of an interplay between flavour physics and properties of the neutrino sector. The presence of such type of leptoquarks radiatively generates neutrino masses and offers a simultaneous explanation for the current B-physics anomalies involving $b \to c \ell \nu_\ell$ decays. Probing Neutral Triple Gauge Couplings at the LHC and Future Hadron Colliders / Ellis, John (King's Coll. London ; CERN ; NICPB, Tallinn ; Tsung-Dao Lee Inst., Shanghai ; SKLPPC, Shanghai) ; He, Hong-Jian (Tsung-Dao Lee Inst., Shanghai ; SKLPPC, Shanghai ; Tsinghua U., Beijing ; Tsinghua U., Beijing, CHEP) ; Xiao, Rui-Qing (King's Coll. We study probes of neutral triple gauge couplings (nTGCs) at the LHC and the proposed 100TeV $pp$ colliders, and compare their sensitivity reaches with those of the proposed $e^+ e^-$ colliders. The nTGCs provide a unique window to the new physics beyond the Standard Model (SM) because they can arise from SM effective field theory (SMEFT) operators that respect the full electroweak gauge group $SU(2)_L\otimes U(1)_Y$ of the SM only at the level of dimension-8 or higher.
