Accurate measurement of $F_{2}^{\rm d}/F_{2}^{\rm p}$ and $R^{\rm d} - R^{\rm p}$ / New Muon Collaboration
Results are presented for $F_{2}^{\rm d}/F_{2}^{\rm p}$ and $R^{\rm d} - R^{\rm p}$ from simultaneous measurements of deep inelastic muon scattering on hydrogen and deuterium targets, at 90, 120, 200 and 280 GeV. The difference $R^{\rm d} - R^{\rm p}$, determined in the range $0.002<x<0.4$ at an average $Q^{2}$ of 5 GeV$^{2}$, is compatible with zero. [...]

A re-evaluation of the nuclear structure function ratios for D, He, Li C and Ca / New Muon Collaboration
We present a re-evaluation of the structure function ratios F2(He)/F2(D), F2(C)/F2(D) and F2(Ca)/F2(D) measured in deep inelastic muon-nucleus scattering at an incident muon momentum of 200 GeV. We also present the ratios F2(C)/F2(Li), F2(Ca)/F2(Li) and F2(Ca)/F2(C) measured at 90 GeV. [...]

Measurement of the proton and the deuteron structure functions, $F_{2}^{p}$ and $F_{2}^{d}$ / New Muon Collaboration
The proton and deuteron structure functions F2p and F2d were measured in the kinematic range 0.006<x<0.6 and 0.5<Q~2<75 GeV~2, by inclusive deep inelastic muon scattering at 90, 120, 200 and 280 GeV. The measurements are in good agreement with earlier high precision results. [...]

The structure function ratios $F_{2}^{Li}/F_{2}^{D}$ and $F_{2}^{C}/F_{2}^{D}$ at small $x$ / New Muon Collaboration
We present the structure function ratios F2(Li)/F2(D) and F2(C)/F2(D) measured in deep inelastic muon-nucleus scattering at a nominal incident muon energy of 200 GeV. The kinematic range 0.0001 < x < 0.7 and 0.01< Q~2 < 70 GeV~2 is covered. [...]

Highly charged radioactive ions can be stored for extended periods of time in storage rings which allows for precision measurements of their decay modes. The straightforward motivation for performing such studies is that fully ionised nuclei or few-electron ions can be viewed as clean quantum-mechanical systems, in which the interactions of the many electrons can be either excluded or treated precisely. Observation of a resonance in the K$_s$p decay channel at a mass of 1765 MeV/c$^2$ / WA89 Collaboration
We report on the observation of a K$_s$p resonance signal at a mass of 1765$\pm$5 MeV/c$^2$, with intrinsic width $\Gamma = 108\pm 22$ MeV/c$^2$, produced inclusively in $\Sigma^-$-nucleus interactions at 340 GeV/c in the hyperon beam experiment WA89 at CERN. The signal was observed in the kinematic region $x_F>0.7$, in this region its production cross section rises approximately linearly with $(1-x_F)$, reaching $BR(X\to K_S p)\cdot d\sigma /dx_F = (5.2\pm 2.3) \mu b $ per nucleon at $x_F=0.8$. Polarised quark distributions in the nucleon from semi-inclusive spin asymmetries / NA47 Collaboration
We present a measurement of semi-inclusive spin asymmetries for positively and negatively charged hadrons from deep inelastic scattering of polarised muons on polarised protons and deuterons in the range $0.003$1 GeV$^2$. Compared to our previous publication on this subject, with the new data the statistical errors have been reduced by nearly a factor of two. [...]
