Quantum computers offer an intriguing path for a paradigmatic change of computing in the natural sciences and beyond, with the potential for achieving a so-called quantum advantage, namely a significant (in some cases exponential) speed-up of numerical simulations. The rapid development of hardware devices with various realizations of qubits enables the execution of small scale but representative applications on quantum computers. [...]

Measurement of the production and elliptic flow of (anti)nuclei in Xe-Xe collisions at sNN = 5.44 TeV / ALICE Collaboration
Measurements of (anti)deuteron and (anti)3He production in the rapidity range |y|< 0.5 as a function of the transverse momentum and event multiplicity in XeXe collisions at a center-of-mass energy per nucleonnucleon pair of sNN = 5.44 TeV are presented. The coalescence parameters B2 and B3 are measured as a function of the transverse momentum per nucleon. [...]

Symmetry Breaking in Geometric Quantum Machine Learning in the Presence of Noise / Tüysüz, Cenk (DESY ; Humboldt U., Berlin) ; Chang, Su Yeon (CERN ; Ecole Polytechnique, Lausanne) ; Demidik, Maria (DESY ; Cyprus Inst.) ; Jansen, Karl (DESY ; Cyprus Inst.) ; Vallecorsa, Sofia (CERN) ; Grossi, Michele (CERN)
Geometric quantum machine learning based on equivariant quantum neural networks (EQNN) recently appeared as a promising direction in quantum machine learning. Despite the encouraging progress, the studies are still limited to theory, and the role of hardware noise in EQNN training has never been explored. [...]

Investigating strangeness enhancement in jet and medium via ϕ(1020) production in p-Pb collisions at sNN = 5.02 TeV / ALICE Collaboration
This work aims to differentiate strangeness produced from hard processes (jet-like) and softer processes (underlying event) by measuring the angular correlation between a high-momentum trigger hadron (h) acting as a jet-proxy and a produced strange hadron (ϕ(1020) meson). Measuring hϕ correlations at midrapidity in pPb collisions at sNN = 5.02 TeV as a function of event multiplicity provides insight into the microscopic origin of strangeness enhancement in small collision systems. Inst.) ; Agarwal, Apar (Calcutta, VECC) ; Aglieri Rinella, Gianluca (CERN) ; Aglietta, Luca (Turin U. ; INFN, Turin) ; Agnello, Michelangelo (Turin Polytechnic) ; Agrawal, Neelima (Bologna U. ; INFN, Bologna) ; Ahammed, Zubayer (Calcutta, VECC) ; Ahmad, Shakeel (Aligarh Muslim U.) ; Ahn, Sang Un (KISTI, Daejeon) et al. /ALICE
This paper presents the first measurements of hadron(h)Λ azimuthal angular correlations in pPb collisions at sNN = 5.02 TeV using the ALICE detector at the LHC. These correlations are used to separate the production of associated Λ baryons into three different kinematic regions, namely those produced in the direction of the trigger particle (near-side), those produced in the opposite direction (away-side), and those whose production is uncorrelated with the jet-axis (underlying event). Systematic study of flow vector fluctuations in sNN=5.02 TeV Pb-Pb collisions / ALICE Collaboration
Measurements of the pT-dependent flow vector fluctuations in Pb--Pb collisions at sNN=5.02 TeV using azimuthal correlations with the ALICE experiment at the LHC are presented. A four-particle correlation approach [1] is used to quantify the effects of flow angle and magnitude fluctuations separately. [...]

Measurements of jet quenching using semi-inclusive hadron+jet distributions in pp and central PbPb collisions at sNN=5.02 TeV / ALICE Collaboration
The ALICE Collaboration reports measurements of the semi-inclusive distribution of charged-particle jets recoiling from a high transverse momentum (high pT) charged hadron, in pp and central PbPb collisions at center of mass energy per nucleonnucleon collision sNN=5.02 TeV. The large uncorrelated background in central PbPb collisions is corrected using a data-driven statistical approach, which enables precise measurement of recoil jet distributions over a broad range in pT,chjet and jet resolution parameter R. Mass measurements with the ISOLTRAP mass spectrometer at CERN-ISOLDE improve mass uncertainties of neutron-deficient tin isotopes towards doubly-magic 100Sn. The mass uncertainty of 103Sn was reduced by a factor of 4, and the new value for the mass excess of -67104(18) keV is compared with nuclear \textit{ab initio} and density functional theory calculations. Jet radius dependence of dijet momentum balance and suppression in Pb+Pb collisions at 5.02 TeV with the ATLAS detector / ATLAS Collaboration
This paper describes a measurement of the jet radius dependence of the dijet momentum balance between leading back-to-back jets in 1.72 nb1 of Pb+Pb collisions collected in 2018 and 255 pb1 of pp collisions collected in 2017 by the ATLAS detector at the LHC. Both data sets were collected at sNN= 5.02 TeV. [...]

Measurement of electrons from beauty-hadron decays in pp and Pb-Pb collisions at sNN = 5.02 TeV / ALICE Collaboration
The production of electrons from beauty-hadron decays was measured at midrapidity in proton-proton (pp) and central Pb-Pb collisions at center-of-mass energy per nucleon-nucleon pair sNN = 5.02 TeV, using the ALICE detector at the LHC. The cross section measured in pp collisions in the transverse momentum interval 2<pT<8 GeV/c was compared with models based on perturbative quantum chromodynamics calculations. [...]
