Vibration and luminosity frequency analysis of the SuperKEKB collider
/ Serluca, Maurizio (Annecy, LAPP) ; Balik, Gael (Annecy, LAPP) ; Brunetti, Laurent (Annecy, LAPP) ; Aimard, Benjamin (Annecy, LAPP) ; Dominjon, Agnes (Annecy, LAPP) ; Bambade, Philip (IJCLab, Orsay) ; Wallon, Sandry (IJCLab, Orsay) ; Di Carlo, Salvatore (CERN) ; Masuzawa, Mika (KEK, Tsukuba) ; Uehara, Sadaharu (KEK, Tsukuba)
The SuperKEKB collider has entered the physics production phase with the aim to reach its target luminosity of 6×1035 cm−2s−1. Vibrations of the accelerator elements, especially around the Interaction Point (IP), could limit the performance of the collider. [...]

Fast Interaction Trigger for ALICE upgrade
/ Slupecki, Maciej (Helsinki U. ; Jyvaskyla U.)
/ALICE Collaboration
We present the structure, functionalities and the first in-beam performance of the ALICE Fast Interaction Trigger (FIT). FIT comprises three detectors: FT0, FV0 and FDD, which use Cherenkov and scintillation effects to detect charged particles originating from proton–proton (pp) and heavy-ion collisions. [...]

The TORCH time-of-flight detector
/ Harnew, N (Oxford U.) ; Gao, R (Oxford U.) ; Hadavizadeh, T (Oxford U.) ; Hancock, T H (Oxford U.) ; Smallwood, J C (Oxford U.) ; Brook, N H (Bath U.) ; Bhasin, S (Bristol U.) ; Cussans, D (Bristol U.) ; Rademacker, J (Bristol U.) ; Forty, R (CERN) et al.
TORCH is a large-area time-of-flight (ToF) detector, proposed for the Upgrade-II of the LHCb experiment. It will provide charged hadron identification over a 2–20 GeV/c momentum range, given a 9.5m flight distance from the LHC interaction point. [...]

/ Alviggi, M (Naples U. ; INFN, Naples) ; Camerlingo, M T (Rome III U. ; INFN, Rome3) ; Della Pietra, M (Naples U. ; INFN, Naples) ; Di Donato, C (Naples U. ; INFN, Naples) ; Di Nardo, R (Rome III U. ; INFN, Rome3) ; Franchellucci, S (Rome III U. ; INFN, Rome3) ; Gimmillaro, C (Rome III U. ; INFN, Rome3) ; Iengo, P (CERN ; INFN, Naples) ; Iodice, M (INFN, Rome3) ; Petrucci, F (Rome III U. ; INFN, Rome3) et al.
The R&D; work reported in this paper has been devoted to the production and test of pixelated resistive micromegas detectors able to track particles in a high-rate environment, up to 10 MHz/cm$^2$, keeping a stable gain and a good spatial resolution. To pursue our goal, we had to reduce the occupancy by increasing the detector granularity and this has been done by changing the read-out anodes from the usual strips to pads. [...]

Optimized injector schemes for FCC-ee positron production
/ Bai, B (Beijing, Inst. High Energy Phys. ; IJCLab, Orsay ; Beijing, GUCAS) ; Faus-Golfe, A (IJCLab, Orsay) ; Han, Y (IJCLab, Orsay) ; Chaikovska, I (IJCLab, Orsay) ; Zhou, Z (Beijing, Inst. High Energy Phys.) ; Chi, Y (Beijing, Inst. High Energy Phys.) ; Oide, K (CERN ; KEK, Tsukuba) ; Zimmermann, F (CERN)
Injectors and in particular the positron production systems are a crucial element in linear and circular colliders. The proposed FCC-ee injector linac accelerates both electrons and positrons up to 6 GeV in order to be injected into the Pre-Booster Ring (PBR) with a high intensity of 3.5 nC per bunch for the Z running mode. / Di Carlo, S. (CERN) ; Bonvicini, G. (Wayne State U.) ; Althubiti, N.A. (Al Jouf U.) ; Ayad, R. (U. Tabuk) ; De La Cruz-Burelo, E. (CINVESTAV, IPN) ; Domínguez, I. (Sinaloa U.) ; Bashir, B.O. El (U. Tabuk) ; Farhat, H. (Wayne State U.) ; Flanagan, J. (KEK, Tsukuba) ; Gillard, R. (Wayne State U.) et al.
This work shows how it is possible to reconstruct SuperKEKB's beam parameters using a Neural Network with beamstrahlung signal from the Large Angle Beamstrahlung Monitor (LABM) as input. We describe the device, the model, and discuss the results..
