/ Plassard, Fabien (CERN) ; Bambade, Philip (Orsay, LAL) ; Latina, Andrea (CERN) ; Marín, Eduardo (CERN) ; Schulte, Daniel (CERN) ; Tomás, Rogelio (CERN)
The tuning aims to mitigate static imperfections of the Final Focus System (FFS) for emittance preservation at the Interaction Point (IP). A simulation campaign on the nominal CLIC FFS at 3 TeV have shown the need of rethink the design in order to ease the tuning of the machine. [...]

/ Plassard, Fabien (CERN) ; Bambade, Philip (Orsay, LAL) ; Latina, Andrea (CERN) ; Marín, Eduardo (CERN) ; Schulte, Daniel (CERN) ; Tomás, Rogelio (CERN)
In the framework of the CLIC rebaselining, the Beam Delivery System (BDS) have been re-optimized for its initial stage at 380 GeV. Two BDS designs with L*=4.3 meters and L*=6 meters have been investigated. [...]

Tuning Simulations for the CLIC Traditional Beam Delivery System
/ Bodenstein, Ryan (JAI, UK) ; Burrows, Philip (JAI, UK) ; Marín, Eduardo (CERN) ; Plassard, Fabien (CERN) ; Tomás, Rogelio (CERN)
As the design of the CLIC Beam Delivery System (BDS) evolves, tuning simulations must be performed on each of the proposed lattice designs to see which system achieves the highest luminosity in the most realistic manner. This work will focus on the tuning simulations performed on the so-called Traditional lattice design for the center-of-mass energy of 3 TeV. [...]

Oide Limit Mitigation Studies
/ Blanco-García, Oscar (Orsay, LAL) ; Bambade, Philip (Orsay, LAL) ; Tomás, Rogelio (CERN)
Particle radiation when traversing a focusing quadrupole limits the minimum achievable beam size, known as the Oide limit. This effect may be compensated by a pair of multipoles which reduce the impact of the energy loss in the vertical beam size. [...]

CLIC Tuning Performance Under Realistic Error Conditions
/ Marín, Eduardo (CERN) ; Latina, Andrea (CERN) ; Plassard, Fabien (CERN) ; Schulte, Daniel (CERN) ; Tomás, Rogelio (CERN)
In this paper we present the latest results regarding the tuning study of the baseline design of the CLIC Final Focus System. In previous studies, 90% of the machines reach 90% of the nominal luminosity, when considering beam position monitor errors and transverse misalignments of magnets for a single beam case. [...]

Simulation of the FCC-hh collimation system
/ Molson, James (Orsay, LAL) ; Bambade, Philip (Orsay, LAL) ; Chancé, Sophie (Orsay, LAL) ; Faus-Golfe, Angeles (Orsay, LAL ; Valencia U., IFIC)
The proposed CERN FCC-hh proton-proton collider will operate at unprecedented per-particle (50 TeV) and total stored beam energies (8.4 GJ). These high energies create the requirement for an efficient collimation system in order to protect the accelerator components and experiments. [...]

Intra-beam IP Feedback Studies for the 380 GeV CLIC Beam Delivery System
/ Bodenstein, Ryan (Oxford U., JAI) ; Burrows, Philip (Oxford U., JAI) ; Plassard, Fabien (CERN) ; Snuverink, Jochem (Royal Holloway, U. of London)
In its currently-envisaged initial stage, the Compact Linear Collider (CLIC) will collide beams with a 380 GeV center of mass energy. To maintain the luminosity within a few percent of the design value, beam stability at the interaction point (IP) must be controlled at the sub-nanometer level. [...]

CLIC FFS Lattice Proposals Combining Local and Non-local Chromaticity Corrections
/ Blanco-García, Oscar (Orsay, LAL) ; Bambade, Philip (Orsay, LAL) ; Tomás, Rogelio (CERN)
The requirements on the Final Focusing System (FFS) for a new linear collider has lead to lattice designs where chromaticity is corrected either locally or non-locally. Here, alternative proposals of lattice design are presented for the current CLIC 500GeV beam parameters, combining the local chromaticity correction on the vertical plane and non-local correction on the horizontal. Early Commissioning of the Luminosity Dither System for SuperKEKB
/ Funakoshi, Yoshihiro (KEK, Tsukuba) ; Bambade, Philip (Orsay, LAL) ; Brown, David (SLAC) ; Di Carlo, Salvatore (Orsay, LAL) ; El Khechen, Dima (CERN) ; Fisher, Alan (SLAC) ; Jehanno, Didier (Orsay, LAL) ; Kawamoto, Takashi (KEK, Tsukuba) ; Masuzawa, Mika (KEK, Tsukuba) ; Nakamura, Shu (KEK, Tsukuba) et al.
SuperKEKB is an electron-positron double ring collider at KEK which aims at a peak luminosity of 8 x 10³⁵ cm⁻²s⁻¹ by using what is known as the ’nano-beam’ scheme. A luminosity dither system is employed for collision orbit feedback in the horizontal plane. [...]
