Simulations and analytical calculations that aim to describe flux-tunable transmons are usually based on effective models of the corresponding lumped-element model. [...]

Dark matter and long-lived particles at the LHC / Heisig, Jan (Aachen, Tech. Hochsch.)
While the paradigm of a weakly interacting massive particle (WIMP) has guided our search strategies for dark matter in the past decades, their null-results have stimulated growing interest in alternative explanations pointing towards non-standard signatures. In this article we discuss the phenomenology of dark matter models that predict long-lived particle at the LHC. [...]

Exploiting the WH/ZH symmetry in the search for New Physics / Harlander, R.V. (Aachen, Tech. Hochsch.) ; Klappert, J. (Aachen, Tech. Hochsch.) ; Pandini, C. (CERN) ; Papaefstathiou, A. (Amsterdam U. ; NIKHEF, Amsterdam)
We suggest to isolate the loop-induced gluon-initiated component ($gg\to ZH$) for associated $ZH$ production by using the similarity of the Drell-Yan-like component for $ZH$ production to the $WH$ process. We argue that the cross-section ratio of the latter two processes can be predicted with high theoretical accuracy. [...]

Model-independent bounds on light pseudoscalars from rare B-meson decays / Döbrich, Babette (CERN) ; Ertas, Fatih (Aachen, Tech. Hochsch.) ; Kahlhoefer, Felix (Aachen, Tech. Hochsch.) ; Spadaro, Tommaso (Frascati)
New light pseudoscalars, such as axion-like particles, appear in many well-motivated extensions of the Standard Model and provide an exciting target for present and future experiments. We study the experimental sensitivity for such particles by revising the CHARM exclusion contour, updating bounds from LHCb and presenting prospects for NA62 and SHiP. [...]

Time-sliced perturbation theory with primordial non-Gaussianity and effects of large bulk flows on inflationary oscillating features / Vasudevan, Anagha (Bohr Inst.) ; Ivanov, Mikhail M. (New York U., CCPP ; Moscow, INR) ; Sibiryakov, Sergey (Moscow, INR ; EPFL, Lausanne, LPPC ; CERN) ; Lesgourgues, Julien (RWTH Aachen U.)
We extend the formalism of time-sliced perturbation theory (TSPT) for cosmological large-scale structure to include non-Gaussian initial conditions. We show that in such a case the TSPT interaction vertices acquire new contributions whose time-dependence factorizes for the Einstein-de Sitter cosmology. [...]

We present new, state-of-the-art predictions for the associated production of the SM Higgs boson with top quarks, computed in accordance with the recommendations of the LHC Higgs Working Group. The NNLO QCD predictions, derived through suitable approximations of the two-loop virtual contribution, are supplemented with soft-gluon resummation up to NNLL accuracy. [...]
