PDF bias and flavor dependence in TMD distributions / Bury, Marcin (Unlisted, PL) ; Hautmann, Francesco (Antwerp U. ; Oxford U. ; CERN) ; Leal-Gomez, Sergio (Vienna U.) ; Scimemi, Ignazio (Madrid U.) ; Vladimirov, Alexey (Regensburg U. ; Madrid U.) ; Zurita, Pia (Regensburg U.)
Transverse momentum dependent (TMD) distributions match collinear parton density functions (PDF) in the limit of small transverse distances, which is accounted for by global extractions of TMD distributions. We study the influence of the collinear PDF value and uncertainties on the determination of unpolarized TMD distributions and the description of Drell-Yan (DY) and Z-boson production measurements at low transverse momenta. Flavor dependent $b$-profiles from Drell-Yan spectra at low transverse momenta / Bury, M. (Unlisted, PL) ; Hautmann, F. (CERN ; Antwerp U. ; Oxford U. ; U. Antwerp (main) ; U. Oxford (main)) ; Leal-Gomez, S. (Vienna U.) ; Scimemi, I. (Madrid U.) ; Vladimirov, A. (Madrid U. ; Regensburg U.) ; Zurita, P. (Regensburg U.)
We discuss our recent study of the impact of collinear PDFs and their uncertainties on the determination of transverse momentum dependent (TMD) distributions and the description of Drell-Yan (DY) production measurements at low transverse momenta. Using QCD factorization and evolution in transverse coordinate b space, this study takes into account for the first time flavor-dependent non-perturbative b-profiles. [...]

The small $k_{\textrm{T}}$region in Drell–Yan production at next-to-leading order with the parton branching method / Bubanja, I. (Montenegro U. ; Vrije U., Brussels) ; Bermudez Martinez, A. (CERN) ; Favart, L. (Vrije U., Brussels) ; Guzman, F. (Unlisted, CU) ; Hautmann, F. (CERN ; Antwerp U. ; Oxford U.) ; Jung, H. (DESY ; Hamburg U., Inst. Theor. Phys. II) ; Lelek, A. (Antwerp U.) ; Mendizabal, M. (DESY) ; Figueroa, K. Moral (DESY) ; Moureaux, L. (Hamburg U.) et al.
The Parton Branching (PB) method describes the evolution of transverse momentum dependent (TMD) parton distributions, covering all kinematic regions from small to large transverse momenta kT. The small kT-region is very sensitive both to the contribution of the intrinsic motion of partons (intrinsic kT) and to the resummation of soft gluons taken into account by the PB TMD evolution equations. The Parton Branching Sudakov and its relation to CSS / Martinez, A Bermudez (CERN) ; Hautmann, F (CERN ; Antwerp U. ; Oxford U.) ; Keersmaekers, L (Antwerp U.) ; Lelek, A (Antwerp U.) ; Mendizabal Morentin, M (DESY, Zeuthen) ; Monfared, S Taheri (DESY, Zeuthen) ; van Kampen, A M (Antwerp U.)
The Transverse Momentum Dependent (TMD) Parton Branching (PB) method is a Monte Carlo (MC) approach to obtain QCD high energy collider predictions grounded in ideas originating from the TMD factorization. It provides an evolution equation for the TMD parton distribution functions (TMDs) and a framework to use those within TMD MC generators. This work focuses on the structure of the PB Sudakov form factor. Azimuthal correlations in high pT processes with the TMD parton branching method at NLO / van Kampen, Mees (Antwerp U.) ; Martinez, A Bermudez (DESY) ; Banos, L I Estevez (DESY) ; Hautmann, F (Antwerp U. ; CERN ; Oxford U.) ; Jung, H (DESY) ; Mendizabal, M (DESY) ; Figueroa, K Moral (Edinburgh U.) ; Prestel, S (Lund U.) ; Monfared, S Taheri (DESY) ; Wang, Q (DESY ; Peking U.) et al.
We discuss our recent results on azimuthal distributions in vector boson + jets and multi-jet production at the LHC, obtained from the matching of next-to-leading order (NLO) perturbative matrix elements with transverse momentum dependent (TMD) parton branching. We present a comparative analysis of boson-jet and jet-jet correlations in the back to-back region, and a study of the theoretical systematic uncertainties associated with the matching scale in the cases of TMD and collinear parton showers..

Determination of the Collins-Soper kernel from cross-sections ratios / Bermudez Martinez, Armando (DESY ; CERN) ; Vladimirov, Alexey (Regensburg U. ; Madrid U.)
We present a novel method of extraction of the Collins-Soper kernel directly from the comparison of differential cross-sections measured at different energies. Using this method, we analyze the pseudo-data generated by the CASCADE event generator and extract the Collins-Soper kernel predicted by the parton-branching model in the wide range of transverse distances. Highlights from COMPASS SIDIS and Drell-Yan programmes / Longo, R (Turin U. ; INFN, Turin) /COMPASS Collaboration
One of the main objectives of the COMPASS experiment at CERN is the study of transverse spin structure of the nucleon trough measurement of target spin (in)dependent azimuthal asymmetries in semi-inclusive deep inelastic scattering (SIDIS) and Drell-Yan (DY) processes with transversely polarized tar- gets. Within the QCD parton model these azimuthal asymmetries give access to a set of transverse-momentum-dependent (TMD) parton distribution functions (PDF) which parameterize the spin structure of the nucleon. Non-perturbative QCD effects from Parton Distribution Functions (PDFs) may be constrained by using high-statistics Large Hadron Collider (LHC) data. Drell-Yan (DY) measurements in the Charged Current (CC) case provide one of the primary means to do this, in the form of the lepton charge asymmetry. [...]
