The rapid neutron nucleosynthesis process involves an enormous amount of very exotic neutron-rich nuclei, which represent a theoretical and experimental challenge. Two of the main decay properties that affect the final abundance distribution the most are half-lives and neutron branching ratios. [...]

New test of modulated electron capture decay of hydrogen-like $^{142}$Pm ions: precision measurement of purely exponential decay / FRS-ESR Collaboration
An experiment addressing electron capture (EC) decay of hydrogen-like $^{142}$Pm$^{60+}$ ions has been conducted at the experimental storage ring (ESR) at GSI. The decay appears to be purely exponential and no modulations were observed. [...]

Ground-State Electromagnetic Moments of Calcium Isotopes / Garcia Ruiz, R.F. (Leuven U.) ; Bissell, M.L. (Leuven U.) ; Blaum, K. (Heidelberg, Max Planck Inst.) ; Frommgen, N. (Mainz U., Inst. Phys.) ; Hammen, M. (Mainz U., Inst. Phys.) ; Holt, J.D. (Darmstadt, Tech. Hochsch. ; Darmstadt, EMMI ; TRIUMF) ; Kowalska, M. (CERN) ; Kreim, K. (Heidelberg, Max Planck Inst.) ; Menendez, J. (Darmstadt, Tech. Hochsch. ; Darmstadt, EMMI ; Tokyo U.) ; Neugart, R. (Heidelberg, Max Planck Inst. ; Mainz U., Inst. Phys.) et al.
High-resolution bunched-beam collinear laser spectroscopy was used to measure the optical hyperfine spectra of the $^{43-51}$Ca isotopes. The ground state magnetic moments of $^{49,51}$Ca and quadrupole moments of $^{47,49,51}$Ca were measured for the first time, and the $^{51}$Ca ground state spin $I=3/2$ was determined in a model-independent way. First glimpse of the $N=82$ shell closure below $Z=50$ from masses of neutron-rich cadmium isotopes and isomers / Manea, V. (CERN ; Heidelberg, Max Planck Inst. ; Leuven U.) ; Karthein, J. (CERN ; Heidelberg, Max Planck Inst.) ; Atanasov, D. (Dresden, Tech. U.) ; Bender, M. (IP2I, Lyon) ; Blaum, K. (Heidelberg, Max Planck Inst.) ; Cocolios, T.E. (Leuven U.) ; Eliseev, S. (Heidelberg, Max Planck Inst.) ; Herlert, A. (FAIR, Darmstadt) ; Holt, J.D. (TRIUMF) ; Huang, W.J. (CSNSM, Orsay) et al.
We probe the $N=82$ nuclear shell closure by mass measurements of neutron-rich cadmium isotopes with the ISOLTRAP spectrometer at ISOLDE-CERN. The new mass of $^{132}$Cd offers the first value of the $N=82$, two-neutron shell gap below $Z=50$ and confirms the phenomenon of mutually enhanced magicity at $^{132}$Sn. [...]
