Description and performance of track and primary-vertex reconstruction with the CMS tracker / CMS Collaboration
A description is provided of the software algorithms developed for the CMS tracker both for reconstructing charged-particle trajectories in proton-proton interactions and for using the resulting tracks to estimate the positions of the LHC luminous region and individual primary-interaction vertices. A high-$Q^{2}$ measurement of the photon structure function $F^{\gamma}_{2}$ at LEP2 / Taylor, Russell J. (University Coll. London)
The photon structure function F_2^gamma has been measured at <Q^2> of 706 GeV^2, using a sample of two-photon events with a scattered electron observed in the OPAL electromagnetic endcap calorimeter. The data were taken during the years 1997-1999, when LEP operated at e+e- centre-of-mass energies ranging from 183 to 202 GeV, and correspond to an integrated luminosity of 424 pb^-1. [...]
