/ Caicedo, Ivan (Bonn U.) ; Barbero, Marlon (Marseille, CPPM) ; Barrillon, Pierre (Marseille, CPPM) ; Bespin, Christian (Bonn U.) ; Berdalovic, Ivan (CERN) ; Breugnon, Patrick (Marseille, CPPM) ; Cardella, Roberto (CERN) ; Degerli, Yavuz (IRFU, Saclay) ; Dingfelder, Jochen (Bonn U.) ; de Acedo, Leyre Flores Sanz (CERN) et al.
“LF-Monopix2” and “TJ-Monopix2” are the second generation of “Monopix” Depleted Monolithic Active Pixel Sensor prototypes fabricated in 150 nm and 180 nm CMOS processes, respectively. Both devices implement a fully functional column-drain read-out architecture at a reticle-size scale, but differ on the concept used for pixel design. [...]

This letter presents the measurement of the energy-dependent neutrino-nucleon cross section in tungsten and the differential flux of muon neutrinos and anti-neutrinos. The analysis is performed using proton-proton collision data at a center-of-mass energy of 13.6 TeV and corresponding to an integrated luminosity of (65.6 ± 1.4) fb−1. [...]

Neutrino Rate Predictions for FASER
/ FASER Collaboration
The Forward Search Experiment (FASER) at CERN's Large Hadron Collider (LHC) has recently directly detected the first collider neutrinos. Neutrinos play an important role in all FASER analyses, either as signal or background, and it is therefore essential to understand the neutrino event rates. [...]

The 100$\mu$PET project: A small-animal PET scanner for ultra-high resolution molecular imaging with monolithic silicon pixel detectors
/ Cadoux, Franck (Geneva U.) ; Cardella, Roberto (Geneva U.) ; Iacobucci, Giuseppe (Geneva U.) ; Iodice, Luca (Geneva U.) ; Ferrere, Didier (Geneva U.) ; Gonzalez-Sevilla, Sergio (Geneva U.) ; Kugathasan, Thanushan (Geneva U.) ; Martinelli, Fulvio (Geneva U.) ; Paolozzi, Lorenzo (Geneva U. ; CERN) ; Picardi, Antonio (Geneva U.) et al.
Recent developments in semiconductor pixel detectors allow a new generation of positron-emission tomography (PET) scanners that, combined with advanced image reconstruction algorithms, will allow for a few hundred microns spatial resolutions. Such novel scanners will pioneer ultra-high resolution molecular imaging, a field that is expected to have an enormous impact in several medical domains, neurology among others. [...]

Development and characterization of a DMAPS chip in TowerJazz 180 nm technology for high radiation environments
/ Bespin, Christian (Bonn U.) ; Berdalovic, Ivan (CERN ; Zagreb U.) ; Caicedo, Ivan (Bonn U.) ; Cardella, Roberto (CERN) ; Dingfelder, Jochen (Bonn U.) ; Flores, Leyre (CERN) ; Hemperek, Tomasz (Bonn U.) ; Krüger, Hans (Bonn U.) ; Kugathasan, Thanushan (CERN) ; Marin Tobon, Cesar (CERN) et al.
The increasing availability of commercial CMOS processes with high-resistivity wafers has fueled the R&D; of depleted monolithic active pixel sensors (DMAPS) for use in high energy physics experiments. One of these developments is a series of monolithic pixel detectors with column-drain readout architecture and small collection electrode allowing for low-power designs (TJ-Monopix). [...]

Measurements and analysis of different front-end configurations for monolithic SiGe BiCMOS pixel detectors for HEP applications
/ Martinelli, Fulvio (CERN ; Ecole Polytechnique, Lausanne) ; Magliocca, Chiara (Geneva U.) ; Cardella, Roberto (Geneva U.) ; Charbon, Edoardo (Ecole Polytechnique, Lausanne) ; Iacobucci, Giuseppe (Geneva U.) ; Nessi, Marzio (Geneva U. ; CERN) ; Paolozzi, Lorenzo (Geneva U. ; CERN) ; Rücker, Holger (IHP, Frankfurt) ; Valerio, Pierpaolo (Geneva U.)
This paper presents a small-area monolithic pixel detector ASIC designed in 130 nm SiGe BiCMOS technology for the upgrade of the pre-shower detector of the FASER experiment at CERN. The purpose of this prototype is to study the integration of fast front-end electronics inside the sensitive area of the pixels and to identify the configuration that could satisfy at best the specifications of the experiment.
