The operation and performance of the Compact Muon Solenoid (CMS) electromagnetic calorimeter (ECAL) are presented, based on data collected in pp collisions at $ \sqrt{s}= $ 13 TeV at the CERN LHC, in the years from 2015 to 2018 (LHC Run 2), corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 151 fb$ ^{-1} $. The CMS ECAL is a scintillating lead-tungstate crystal calorimeter, with a silicon strip preshower detector in the forward region that provides precise measurements of the energy and the time-of-arrival of electrons and photons. Measurements of partial branching fractions of inclusive B→Xuℓ+νℓ decays with hadronic tagging / Belle Collaboration
We present measurements of partial branching fractions of inclusive semileptonic $B \to X_u \, \ell^+\, \nu_{\ell}$ decays using the full Belle data set of 711 fb$^{-1}$ of integrated luminosity at the $\Upsilon(4S)$ resonance and for $\ell = e, \mu$. Inclusive semileptonic $B \to X_u \, \ell^+\, \nu_{\ell}$ decays are CKM suppressed and measurements are complicated by the large background from CKM-favored $B \to X_c \, \ell^+\, \nu_{\ell}$ transitions, which have a similar signature.
