The ATLAS experiment at the CERN Large Hadron Collider: a description of the detector configuration for Run 3 / ATLAS Collaboration
The ATLAS detector is installed in its experimental cavern at Point 1 of the CERN Large Hadron Collider. During Run 2 of the LHC, a luminosity of $\mathcal{L}=2\times 10^{34}\mathrm{cm}^{-2}\mathrm{s}^{-1}$ was routinely achieved at the start of fills, twice the design luminosity. [...]

Commissioning of L1Calo Phase I Upgrade at ATLAS: development and testing of eFEX and FTM modules / ATLAS Collaboration
The ATLAS level-1 calorimeter trigger (L1Calo) is a hardware system that identifies events containing calorimeter-based physics objects. In preparation for Run 3 with increased pileup ($\mu\sim65$), L1Calo is currently implementing a significant programme of planned upgrades. [...]

Development of the kaon tagging system for the NA62 experiment at CERN / Goudzovski, Evgueni (Birmingham U.) ; Krivda, Marian (Birmingham U. ; Kosice, IEF) ; Lazzeroni, Cristina (Orsay) ; Massri, Karim (Birmingham U.) ; Newson, Francis O. (Birmingham U.) ; Pyatt, Simon (Birmingham U.) ; Romano, Angela (Birmingham U.) ; Serghi, Xen (Birmingham U.) ; Sergi, Antonino (Birmingham U.) ; Staley, Richard J. (Birmingham U.) et al.
The NA62 experiment at CERN aims to make a precision measurement of the ultra-rare decay $K^{+} \rightarrow \pi^{+}\nu\overline{\nu}$, and relies on a differential Cherenkov detector (KTAG) to identify charged kaons at an average rate of 50 MHz in a 750 MHz unseparated hadron beam. The experimental sensitivity of NA62 to K-decay branching ratios (BR) of $10^{-11}$ requires a time resolution for the KTAG of better than 100 ps, an efficiency better than 95% and a contamination of the kaon sample that is smaller than $10^{-4}$. The PreProcessor system of the ATLAS Level-1 Calorimeter Trigger (L1Calo) receives about 7200 analogue signals from the electromagnetic and hadronic components of the calorimetric detector system. Lateral division results in cells which are pre-summed to so-called Trigger Towers of size 0.1 × 0.1 along azimuth (phi) and pseudorapidity (η). [...]

Muon Detection Based on a Hadronic Calorimeter / on behalf of the ATLAS TDAQ collaboration
The TileCal hadronic calorimeter provides a muon signal which can be used to assist in muon tagging at the ATLAS level-one trigger. Originally, the muon signal was conceived to be combined with the RPC trigger in order to reduce unforeseen high trigger rates due to cavern background. [...]
