Search for heavy neutrinos mixing with $\tau$ neutrinos
/ NOMAD Collaboration
We report on a search for heavy neutrinos ($\nus$) produced in the decay $D_s\to \tau \nus$ at the SPS proton target followed by the decay $\nudecay$ in the NOMAD detector.\ Both decays are expected to occur if $\nus$ is a component of $\nu_{\tau}$.\ From the analysis of the data collected during the 1996-1998 runs with $4.1\times10^{19}$ protons on target, a single candidate event consistent with background expectations was found.\ %No evidence for this decay chain has been found This allows to derive for the first time an upper limit on the mixing strength between the heavy neutrino and the tau neutrino in the $\nus$ mass range from 10 to 190 $\rm MeV$.\ Windows between the SN1987a and Big Bang Nucleosynthesis lower limits and our result are still open for future experimental searches.\ The results obtained are used to constrain an interpretation of the time anomaly observed in the KARMEN1 detector..

Report from Working Group 2 : Higgs Physics at the HL-LHC and HE-LHC
/ Cepeda, M. (CERN ; Madrid, CIEMAT) ; Gori, S. (UC, Santa Cruz, Inst. Part. Phys.) ; Ilten, P. (Birmingham U.) ; Kado, M. (Orsay, LAL ; INFN, Rome ; Rome U.) ; Riva, F. (Geneva U., Dept. Theor. The discovery of the Higgs boson in 2012, by the ATLAS and CMS experiments, was a success achieved with only a percent of the entire dataset foreseen for the LHC. It opened a landscape of possibilities in the study of Higgs boson properties, Electroweak Symmetry breaking and the Standard Model in general, as well as new avenues in probing new physics beyond the Standard Model. /RD53
RD53A is a large scale 65 nm CMOS pixel demonstrator chip that has been developed by the RD53 collaboration for very high rate (3 GHz/cm$^2$) and very high radiation levels (500 Mrad, possibly 1 Grad) for ATLAS and CMS phase 2 upgrades. It features serial powering operation and design variations in the analog and digital pixel matrix for different testing purposes. [...]

Beam test evaluation of electromagnetic calorimeter modules made from proton-damaged PbWO$_4$ crystals

The performance of electromagnetic calorimeter modules made of proton-irradiated PbWO(4) crystals has been studied in beam tests. The modules, similar to those used in the Endcaps of the CMS electromagnetic calorimeter (ECAL), were formed from 5×5 matrices of PbWO(4) crystals, which had previously been exposed to 24 GeV protons up to integrated fluences between 2.1× 10(13) and 1.3× 10(14) cm(−)(2). Observation of enhanced double parton scattering in proton-lead collisions at $\sqrt{s_\mathrm{NN}}=8.16$ TeV
/ LHCb Collaboration
A study of prompt charm-hadron pair production in proton-lead collisions at $\sqrt{s_\mathrm{NN}}= 8.16$ TeV is performed using data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of about 30 nb${}^{-1}$, collected with the LHCb experiment. Production cross-sections for different pairs of charm hadrons are measured and kinematic correlations between the two charm hadrons are investigated. [...]
