Bridging Positivity and S-matrix Bootstrap bounds
/ Elias Miro, Joan (speaker) (ICTP, Trieste)
In this talk I will show how to isolate Effective Field Theory scattering amplitudes in the space of non-perturbative two-to-two amplitudes, using the S-matrix Bootstrap. I will show that this construction leads to novel bounds on operators of dimension less than or equal to six, and specupate about future aplications to the SM EFT..

Hamiltonian Truncation with Larger Dimensions
/ Elias Miró, Joan (speaker) (ICTP)
Hamiltonian Truncation (HT) is a numerical approach for calculating observables in a Quantum Field Theory non-perturbatively. This approach can be applied to theories constructed by deforming a conformal field theory with a relevant operator of scaling dimension ∆. [...]

Positive Moments for Scattering Amplitudes
/ Bellazzini, Brando (IPhT, Saclay ; CERN) ; Elias Miró, Joan (ICTP, Trieste) ; Rattazzi, Riccardo (EPFL, Lausanne, LPTP) ; Riembau, Marc (EPFL, Lausanne, LPTP ; Geneva U., Dept. Theor. Phys.) ; Riva, Francesco (Geneva U., Dept. Theor. Phys.)
We find the complete set of conditions satisfied by the forward $2\to2$ scattering amplitude in unitarity and causal theories. These are based on an infinite set of energy dependent quantities -- the arcs -- which are dispersively expressed as moments of a positive measure defined at (arbitrarily) higher energies. [...]

Flux Tube S-matrix Bootstrap

We bootstrap the S-matrix of massless particles in unitary, relativistic two dimensional quantum field theories. We find that the low energy expansion of such S-matrices is strongly constrained by the existence of a UV completion. [...]

Higgs mass and vacuum stability in the Standard Model at NNLO
/ Degrassi, Giuseppe (INFN, Rome3) ; Di Vita, Stefano (INFN, Rome3) ; Elias-Miró, Joan (Barcelona, IFAE) ; Espinosa, José R (Barcelona, IFAE ; ICREA, Barcelona) ; Giudice, Gian F (CERN) ; Isidori, Gino (CERN ; LNF, Dafne Light) ; Strumia, Alessandro (INFN, Pisa ; NICPB, Tallinn)
We present the first complete next-to-next-to-leading order analysis of the Standard Model Higgs potential. We computed the two-loop QCD and Yukawa corrections to the relation between the Higgs quartic coupling (lambda) and the Higgs mass (Mh), reducing the theoretical uncertainty in the determination of the critical value of Mh for vacuum stability to 1 GeV. Stabilization of the Electroweak Vacuum by a Scalar Threshold Effect
/ Elias-Miro, Joan (Barcelona, Autonoma U. ; Barcelona, IFAE) ; Espinosa, Jose R. (Barcelona, Autonoma U. ; Barcelona, IFAE ; ICREA, Barcelona) ; Giudice, Gian F. (CERN) ; Lee, Hyun Min (CERN) ; Strumia, Alessandro (INFN, Pisa ; Pisa U. ; NICPB, Tallinn)
We show how a heavy scalar singlet with a large vacuum expectation value can evade the potential instability of the Standard Model electroweak vacuum. The quartic interaction between the heavy scalar singlet and the Higgs doublet leads to a positive tree-level threshold correction for the Higgs quartic coupling, which is very effective in stabilizing the potential. Higgs mass implications on the stability of the electroweak vacuum
/ Elias-Miro, Joan (Barcelona, IFAE) ; Espinosa, Jose R (Barcelona, IFAE ; ICREA, Barcelona) ; Giudice, Gian F (CERN) ; Isidori, Gino (CERN ; Frascati) ; Riotto, Antonio (CERN ; INFN, Padua) ; Strumia, Alessandro (Pisa U. ; INFN (main) ; NICPB, Tallinn)
We update instability and metastability bounds of the Standard Model electroweak vacuum in view of the recent ATLAS and CMS Higgs results. For a Higgs mass in the range 124--126 GeV, and for the current central values of the top mass and strong coupling constant, the Higgs potential develops an instability around $10^{11}$ GeV, with a lifetime much longer than the age of the Universe.
