Bridging Positivity and S-matrix Bootstrap bounds / Elias Miro, Joan (speaker) (ICTP, Trieste)
In this talk I will show how to isolate Effective Field Theory scattering amplitudes in the space of non-perturbative two-to-two amplitudes, using the S-matrix Bootstrap. I will show that this construction leads to novel bounds on operators of dimension less than or equal to six, and specupate about future aplications to the SM EFT..

Hamiltonian Truncation with Larger Dimensions / Elias Miró, Joan (speaker) (ICTP)
Hamiltonian Truncation (HT) is a numerical approach for calculating observables in a Quantum Field Theory non-perturbatively. This approach can be applied to theories constructed by deforming a conformal field theory with a relevant operator of scaling dimension ∆. [...]

Positive Moments for Scattering Amplitudes / Bellazzini, Brando (IPhT, Saclay ; CERN) ; Elias Miró, Joan (ICTP, Trieste) ; Rattazzi, Riccardo (EPFL, Lausanne, LPTP) ; Riembau, Marc (EPFL, Lausanne, LPTP ; Geneva U., Dept. Theor. Phys.) ; Riva, Francesco (Geneva U., Dept. Theor. Phys.)
We find the complete set of conditions satisfied by the forward $2\to2$ scattering amplitude in unitarity and causal theories. These are based on an infinite set of energy dependent quantities -- the arcs -- which are dispersively expressed as moments of a positive measure defined at (arbitrarily) higher energies. [...]

Exploring Hamiltonian Truncation in $\bf{d=2+1}$ / Elias-Miró, Joan (ICTP, Trieste ; CERN) ; Hardy, Edward (Liverpool U., Dept. Math.)
We initiate the application of Hamiltonian Truncation methods to solve strongly coupled QFTs in $d=2+1$. By analysing perturbation theory with a Hamiltonian Truncation regulator, we pinpoint the challenges of such an approach and propose a way that these can be addressed. [...]

Flux Tube S-matrix Bootstrap / Elias Miró, Joan (CERN) ; Guerrieri, Andrea L. (ICTP-SAIFR, Sao Paulo) ; Hebbar, Aditya (EPFL, Lausanne, FSL) ; Penedones, João (EPFL, Lausanne, FSL) ; Vieira, Pedro (Perimeter Inst. Theor. Phys. ; ICTP-SAIFR, Sao Paulo)
We bootstrap the S-matrix of massless particles in unitary, relativistic two dimensional quantum field theories. We find that the low energy expansion of such S-matrices is strongly constrained by the existence of a UV completion. [...]

The discovery of the Higgs boson in 2012, by the ATLAS and CMS experiments, was a success achieved with only a percent of the entire dataset foreseen for the LHC. It opened a landscape of possibilities in the study of Higgs boson properties, Electroweak Symmetry breaking and the Standard Model in general, as well as new avenues in probing new physics beyond the Standard Model. A New Boson with a Mass of 125 GeV Observed with the CMS Experiment at the Large Hadron Collider / CMS Collaboration
The Higgs boson was postulated nearly five decades ago within the framework of the standard model of particle physics and has been the subject of numerous searches at accelerators around the world. Its discovery would verify the existence of a complex scalar field thought to give mass to three of the carriers of the electroweak force—the W+, W–, and Z0 bosons—as well as to the fundamental quarks and leptons.
