伊斯蘭教是大不列顛及北愛爾蘭聯合王國的第二大宗教，英國2011年人口普查結果顯示，2011年英國穆斯林人口為2,516,000人，佔總人口的4.4％。
英國絕大多數穆斯林居住在英格蘭：2,660,116（人口的5.02％）。蘇格蘭有76,737名穆斯林（1.45％），威爾士有 45,950名（1.50％）。
在英屬印度陸軍統治下，在第一次世界大戰和第二次世界大戰期間，相當數量的穆斯林為英國而戰（其中一些人被授予英國最高榮譽維多利亞十字勳章）。在後一場衝突和1947年的印巴分治之後的幾十年裡，許多英國亞裔穆斯林（來自今天的巴基斯坦、孟加拉國和印度）在英國定居。
