OSM has over 7,000 stations geolocated. Overpass query/CSV. Many stations are missing a code (red fill), name (red stroke) and also wikidata identifiers (yellow stroke)

Indian Railway station codes

Unique alphanumeric codes to identify every railway location where commercial operations are handled is allocated by the Indian Railway Conference Association (IRCA). The codes are given to stations, halts, cabins, yards, sidings and booking offices that have a unique geographic location across the entire railway network including private and metro railway systems apart from the national operator Indian Railways. Codes are retained with name changes and are not reallocated in case of closure of station [1]

Rates Branch System - Indian Railways. Comprehensive list of 16,770 station codes division wise. Updated but names are not reliable.
Station list - Railway Claims Tribunal has 12,877 codes. Not updated.
