Need some help getting started? Here are some pages you can familiarize yourself with:
- Introduction – An introduction to the project.
- Wikidata tours – Interactive tutorials to show you how Wikidata works.
- Community portal – The portal for community members.
- User options – including the 'Babel' extension, to set your language preferences.
- Contents – The main help page for editing and using the site.

- Tools – A collection of user-developed tools to allow for easier completion of some tasks.
Please remember to sign your messages on talk pages by typing four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date.
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask on Project chat. If you want to try out editing, you can use the sandbox to try. Once again, welcome, and I hope you quickly feel comfortable here, and become an active editor for Wikidata.
Best regards!
Thanks for catching the mistake at Q2435764! Just so you know, when you remove an incorrect link, it's helpful if you add the link to the proper item, or create an item if one doesn't already exist. I'm currently trying to get the developers to implement a feature that would allow users to give explanations when removing links, but for the time being there's no way for us to tell at a glance why exactly a user's removing a link. (Link removal is a frequent type of test edit here, and your action tripped an edit filter.) Anyways, no worries, and it's better to fix half the problem than to not fix it at all, right? — PinkAmpers&(Je vous invite à me parler) 23:49, 25 February 2013 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm FrigidNinja. In case you didn't know, when you add descriptions to items, you shouldn't include articles such as "a" or "the". If you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks!
