Is this supposed to be describing the concept of female homosexuality, or of homosexual females?
[edit]My understanding is the word "Lesbian" (the label of the entry) refers to the actual women who are homosexual, rather than to female-female attraction itself. IE homosexuality =/= homosexual person. Homosexuality - Noun referring to same sex attraction. Homosexual - An adjective referring to the state of experiencing/having homosexuality. Homosexual - A noun referring to a homosexual(adj) person. Gay - An adjective synonymous with the adjective homosexual. Gay - A noun referring to homosexual men (ie: the gays). Usually seen as a pejorative.
Likewise: Lesbian - A noun referring to homosexual women But the description of this entry makes it sound like it's referring to the attraction itself (ie homosexuality, not homosexual(n)). This same problem persists among various LGBT pages, which constantly confuse the concept of LGBT traits, with the concept of LGBT people. Kafke (talk) 14:04, 3 February 2021 (UTC)
