- Leider nein, er hat auch kein Amt in der Gemeindeverwaltung, wie hier geschrieben wird, er ist, jedenfalls in früheren Zeiten in England, Wales und wohl auch in Schottland, ein Mitglied des Kommunalparlaments, der von diesem gewählt wird und innerhalb des "council" besondere Aufgaben und Privilegien hat und vor allem ist er kein "Beigeordneter", wie das insbesondere deutschsprachige Wikipedia-Mitarbeiter immer wieder behaupten. Mit Schöffen und dergleichen hat das auch nichts zu tun! Ich schlage vor, dass hier nur noch Leute mitarbeiten und mitdiskutieren, die ein Mindestmaß an Kenntnissen haben. mein Problem ist, dass die deutschsprachige Wikipedia im Bereich "englische Verwaltung, Politik usw." von Fehlern nur so wimmelt. Es wäre schlimm, wenn diese Fehler in Wikidata hineingetragen und von dort aus wieder verteilt werden, nur sieht es momentan leider genau danach aus!!--Cabanero42 (talk) 23:51, 20 August 2020 (UTC)
