[edit]@FocalPoint: I think using member of (P463)Academy of Athens (Q414403) as is done for other similar institutions is a better solution than using this item. --Zolo (talk) 09:04, 8 September 2017 (UTC)
Hi Zolo. If the person is one of the too many members (member of (P463)) of an organization as that of a political party, I would agree. In that case (of a political party), being a member is significant only because of the political party, so I would not suggest, nor would I support the creation of "Member of the Green Party" or to make it even more clear, I would not suggest, nor would I support the creation of "Member of Institute of Electrical Engineers". In the case of institutions similar to the Academy of Athens (Q414403), the position of Member of the Athens Academy (Q23772807) is significant in itself. It is a title, much more important than being a Lord or a Baron. Because it is not hereditary. Because it is a title based on merit. Similarly, member of the Académie française (Q18705668) is a title in itself, it is not a membership in a club. --FocalPoint (talk) 06:46, 9 September 2017 (UTC)
