Unique value?
[edit]I believe this constraint should be removed, since there are many cases where there are several parish of the Church of Sweden (Q615980) with the same Pastoral district code (Pastoratskod) (Q10621603). Or am I wrong, Innocent bystander? Ainali (talk) 07:58, 20 December 2016 (UTC)
- I am far from an expert in the organisation of Svenska Kyrkan, but isn't this in reality a problem derived from that we do not have many real articles about Pastorat. That they instead are located in the Parish? And it is maybe only Pastorat who should have P779? -- Innocent bystander (talk) 08:20, 20 December 2016 (UTC)
- I am no expert either, but judging from the Wikipedia articles it looks like Tingsås parish (Q10698282), Väckelsång Parish (Q10717102), Q10688993, Almundsryd parish (Q10406575), Q10562846, Q10725645 and Q10711099 all should have value 060113 for P779. Ainali (talk) 08:33, 20 December 2016 (UTC)
- Looks like either this or the type constraint should be changed.
--- Jura 08:40, 20 December 2016 (UTC)- My father was employed by a "pastorat", but he worked in several parishes. That is maybe the key to this question. A "pastorat" is a legal organisation, while the parish is more of geographic entity? @Yger, Tostarpadius: who also have or have had relations to "Svenska kyrkan" maybe can tell us more? -- Innocent bystander (talk) 08:55, 20 December 2016 (UTC)
- There is a problem with the English terminology used for the Swedish distinction. One "pastorat" may consist of several "församlingar". Sometimes the first word is translated "parish" and the second "congregation". I do not know if that is correct. Tostarpadius (talk) 22:16, 20 December 2016 (UTC)
- Församling is the basic level of the Swedish Church. There also exist församlingsråd which have little actual power. Pastorat is in many ways a partical working body who empoloyes personell and which have several församlingar it supports. When a "pastorat" only supports one församling, no pastorat exist. Som pastorat is a mess, församlingar is not a mess.Yger (talk) 15:56, 27 December 2016 (UTC)
- Sounds like the same problem as at Property_talk:P2788.
