Video Volunteers enables marginalised citizens to hold the government accountable, by telling their stories to the world and launching impact campaigns through video. Their impact videos are inspirational stories of bottom-up change that document how community media has led to concrete change.

We welcome all visualisation tools and methods at Viz For Social Good, but our roots come from the Tableau Conference in 2016, and Tableau have always been our friends supporting us on our journey. In the past, we’ve had pride of place on the Conference stage, whether in USA, London, or Berlin. It might have seemed that we had a quieter presence in 2021, but, on the contrary, we are proud of our continuing presence at Conference. We’d like to thank Sonia Martin from Sunny Street - her energy and enthusiasm has been on hand throughout the project, and though unfortunately she was unwell for this presentation event, there’s no doubt that this engagement has helped us to a massive 56 entries for the project!
