I purchased an 18KW generator from CDS in 2022 and their service has been outstanding. Denise the Service Supervisor has been great to work with and totally customer oriented. I recently had an issue that required a part replacement that was on back order Denise was instrumental in locating a hard to find part. She received the part and dispatched Chris the Service Technician who installed the part and got the generator back online.They were outstanding for the install and follow up service.Top notch!

Our installer was really knowledgable of the Charge Point EV product as well as residential electrical as a whole. The install went well and he kept us update throughout the process. The work area was kept clean and the install looked nice and professional at the end.

The service call from CDS was very good. The tech was thorough and explained what was going on. I thought that we had a dead battery but the tech showed me that it was still good. He reset the unit and it is working fine.

Everything was accomplished in a straight forward manner; owners requirements were requested and adhered to. Job was complicated by having to tie into three 200 amp service panels but the job was finished on time. BTW, we had a power failure two days later and the equipment ran up fine. A great real world test!

Everything was installed on the dates that were initially established. All of CDS staff were extremely responsive and knowledgeable. The electricians who installed the generator were on time even though they were 120 miles away. The work they did was outstanding. While they were working they maintained a neat and clean worksite. They were professional and respectful. The weather wasn't the best (rain and 39 Degrees), but they never let that get in the way of completing their work.

I think it's been about ten years since CDS installed my whole house generator. The unit has worked flawlessly throughout that time, no doubt in part to the twice annual service they provide. Ten years is a long time to have a relationship with one service provider, but it looks like we're going to be together for a long tome into the future. Thanks CDS, you're number one in my book.

Poor communication long periods of time with no updates. Workers did not use shoe covers when entering the house. Tracking mud and debris thru house. Left electrical debris in driveway (screws and pieces of scrap tin metal). Installed ATS box incorrectly so did not pass inspection must be remove to another area on a brick wall. Asking for final payment before final inspection done which failed extending contract date for completion time.

The entire team from CDS was awesome. From the estimators to the planners to the technicians doing the installation. Everyone was professional courteous and friendly. The work was excellent. Everything was completed on time and people showed up when they said they would. Care was taken to protect my property and to keep the worksite clean and safe. I highly recommend then if you are going to install a generator.

They arrived on time and performed the installation quickly and professionally. They demonstrated how to start the generator, perform the switch over from external power to the generator and back. They then walked us thru the switchover and back. They diagrammed and labeled the circuits in the ne sub-panel and the circuits in the original panel that were still active. They also labeled the new spare circuits on the main panel. All in all a great job.

CDS maintains the Generac standby generator at our home. As in previous years, they contacted us when it was time to renew, and took care of the service without any fuss. We lose power about 2-4 times/year, and the generator has always worked fine.

Tech Jake arrived at our home on 7/22/2022 and started working on Generac after we told him the problem we were having. At first, he thought it was the battery but he looked at the terminals going to the battery and they were corroded causing a bad connection and not sending voltage to startup unit. So he replaced them and it started right up. The last Tech should have caught this but that's another story. However, because of this mistake they didn't charge us for anything and we greatly appreciate it. Now we're getting ready to purchase a new one since we had this since 2006. Again, thanks to Jake he saved the day and so has Generac! Your Customer Service is outstanding as well.
