Chris and the Bordr team did an amazing…

Chris and the Bordr team did an amazing job staying on top of the paperwork, signatures, and what seemed like an endless stream of paperwork in order to receive our NIF and open our bank account. And special thanks to Chris for staying in touch with the bank representative while we waited to make an appointment to get our PIN numbers. We are both so grateful for your expertise and your understanding.

Great service!

We received our NIF numbers within days of applying. Bordr was very efficient and responsive! We’re moving forward with them now on tax consultation and will continue to use them!

I would do it, if I wasn't me

It's much easier to say, "I would do it, if I wasn't me." out loud than move across the Atlantic. But having moved here, I won't miss saying that anymore.

Bordr was instrumental in helping me forget how to say those words.

They provided reliable, punctual, clear, kind assistance to acquire NIF IDs, open a bank account and the entire D7 visa process. They educated me along the way. Whenever issues required legal help, Bordr took care of that too. And they made incredible referrals for living accommodations.

When you need help moving to Portugal, Bordr is a brilliant way to start.

Great experience

I needed a NIF (tax number) and Bordr provided exactly what I needed: they took it out of my hands so I could focus on other things. They kept me updated throughout. A stressfree experience that for me personally was worth the money.

I figured it woul…

I figured it would be a stressful experience to obtain my taxpayer number. It took a minimal effort on my part thanks to the great work and communication by the Bordr team. They basically took away all of this stress.

They need better planning

I have read many good reviews regarding Bordr's services. That was the main reason I decided to work with them. However they switched their banking partner without prior notice. They should announce such a decision many weeks prior to such a major change. Besides that their methodology is fine.

We had to switch banking partners due to changes in our former bank partner's strict policies and compliance requirements which limited our ability to offer the same level of service. While our new bank partner may have a higher income requirement, they serve a broader range of customers and offer more flexibility in the application process. We updated our website and guides on July 4, 2024, to reflect these changes but we regret any confusion that may have occurred.

Border is Awesome

Border is Awesome! I worked with Bordr regarding NIFs for me and my sons, and a bank account. All the Bordr staff was helpful, supportive, responsive, and quickly refunded any portions of the work that we decided I no longer needed. It was one of the best experiences I hav ever had with a fully-remote organization. I will definitely keep working with them in the future.

Excellent Support and Technology

Bordr has top notch products to provide a smooth and efficient online process for many services. But, what sets this company apart is their service and support! This is not just a technology service - you get real and timely responses from their support team. Their service is incredibly valuable in an age where it's becoming so difficult to contact a human being for support. Their team is delightful and their services are fairly priced.

Great experience with Bordr

Great experience with Bordr! I needed a NIF super quickly because my Portuguese property offer needed to go very quickly otherwise I may lose the property. Bordr was very easy to use, user friendly with document upload, and the team was super responsive. They were able to get me my NIF within just a few days for me to move forward with my mortgage process. Thanks team Bordr!

BORDR in our corner

The BORDR team guided us through getting our NIFs, bank account and D7 visas for Portugal. Great communication, personally tailored checklists, awesome user guides, well thought out responses to emails, scheduled Zoom meetings and "genuine care" are just a few of the valuable things that BORDR provided. Moving to Portugal is a huge life change for us. BORDR has been our anchor through the process and all for the cost of a rounding error in my taxes. Thank you so much.

Order Portuguese NIF #s w/ Bordr.com

I used Bordr.com to open order Portuguese NIF numbers for my two children. Despite all communication being done over email, there was never a lack of communication or me wondering the status of our application. Isa was the absolute best. She answered my emails rapidly and in great detail. I would absolutely recommend this company.

Responsive

Using Bordr has really helped us begin this journey to Portugal. It was easy to set up our account and we got immediate response. In collecting documents, the BOX site is useful to upload documents. When we've had questions, the response has been timely.

Bordr is the best!

I can't say enough about the customer service at Bordr! Not only has this company made everything streamlined, they assist along the way if you are confused. They respond promptly and go above and beyond to get issues (not caused by them) resolved. They also have numerous tutorials/blogs that come in handy throughout the visa process.

Getting our NIF was s fast and…

Getting our NIF was s fast and convenient with Bordr. The team was super responsive and submitting our documents through their online portal was easy. If you’re not in Portugal and you’re looking to get a NIF, these guys are the way to go. We had such a good experience, we decided to go through them to get our bank account as well.

NISS request

Bordr received my NISS request, responded promptly and courteously, and gave clear instructions on completing tasks. The timeline for processing my request for a NISS was explained, and communication along the way to confirm actions taken or that I needed to take was incredible. The use of BOX to sign documents is user-friendly and convenient. I have used Bordr's service before and would highly recommend it. They deliver!

Soooo Easy.

This was so easy, I wish other countries I have lived in, including my own, were so efficient! obrigado!

My home country (US) has too many government offices still relying on fax machines, and my latest country of residence (Italy) prefers physical copies with stamps and signatures. Thank you Portugal for being in the 21st century!

NIF and bank account assistance

Bordr assisted with both NIF and bank account and delivered in record time. I loved that there were updates of our progress every step of the way. The step-by-step guides during the bank account setup were also tremendously helpful.
