Sir Cecil Hanbury was the son of Sir Thomas Hanbury and Katherine Aldam Pease. He married Effield Dorothy Cecil Symons-Jeune, daughter of John Frederic Symons-Jeune and Frances Susanna Bunbury, on 25 June 1913. He died in 1937.
