     Dorothy Anne Stirling was born circa 1795.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Walter Stirling of Faskine, 1st Bt. and Susannah Goodenough.¹ She married John Barrett-Lennard, son of Sir Thomas Barrett-Lennard, 1st Bt. and Dorothy St. Aubyn, on 23 July 1814.¹ She died on 19 November 1888.¹
     Her married name became Barrett-Lennard.

     Thomas Stirling George Barrett-Lennard was the son of John Barrett-Lennard and Dorothy Anne Stirling.¹ He married Frederica Brooks, daughter of Colonel Joseph Brooks, on 7 September 1841.¹ He died on 7 April 1845, without issue.¹

     Frederica Brooks is the daughter of Colonel Joseph Brooks.¹ She married, firstly, Thomas Stirling George Barrett-Lennard, son of John Barrett-Lennard and Dorothy Anne Stirling, on 7 September 1841.¹ She married, secondly, William Whitaker on 13 July 1846.¹
     From 7 September 1841, her married name became Barrett-Lennard. From 13 July 1846, her married name became Whitaker.

     William Whitaker married Frederica Brooks, daughter of Colonel Joseph Brooks, on 13 July 1846.¹

     George Barrett-Lennard was born in 1817.¹ He was the son of John Barrett-Lennard and Dorothy Anne Stirling.¹ He married, firstly, Jessie Nairne, daughter of J. M. Drummond Nairne, in 1840.¹ He married Sarah Bradbury, daughter of William Bradbury, on 5 August 1858.¹ He died on 11 March 1896.
     He was in the Diplomatic Service.¹
