     Sir Richard Wolseley, 2nd Bt. was born on 10 January 1729.¹ He was the son of Sir Richard Wolseley, 1st Bt. and Alice Molyneux.² He married Letitia Marlay, daughter of Anthony Marlay, on 31 January 1765.¹ He died on 28 July 1781 at age 52.¹
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Wolseley, of Mount Wolseley, co. Carlow [I., 1745] on 8 April 1769.¹
