Roger Stafford, 6th Baron Stafford was born between 1572 and 1575.1 He was the son of Richard Stafford and Mary Corbet.2 He died circa 1640, unmarried.1
He succeeded as the 6th Baron Stafford [E., 1547] on 4 August 1637.1 On 7 December 1639 he was in irregular fashion required to surrender any right to the Barony of Stafford (the Crown arguing he was too poor) on his preferring a claim, which he did (despite such surrenders being held illegal in the case of English peerages the very next year) in return for £800.1 On his death, his barony in any case became extinct.1
