Hon. Christopher Alers Hankey was born on 27 April 1911.1 He was the son of Maurice Pascal Alers Hankey, 1st Baron Hankey and Adeline Hermine Gertrude Ernestine de Smidt.2 He married, firstly, Prudence May Brodribb, daughter of Keith Alfred Brodribb and Laura Bright Macleod, on 31 October 1945.1 He and Prudence May Brodribb were divorced in 1957.1 He married, secondly, Helen Christine Cassavetti, daughter of Alexander John Cassavetti, on 5 September 1958.1 He died on 31 March 2000 at age 88.1,3
