Margaret Morrow1

     Margaret Morrow was the daughter of Andrew Morrow.2 She married Reverend John Byers, son of Samuel Byers and Susan Maclean, in 1852.1 She died on 21 February 1912.2
     From 1852, her married name became Byers. She was founder and first Principal between 1859 and 1912 at Victoria College, Belfast, County Antrim, IrelandG.1 She was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Law (LL.D.) by Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG, in 1905.1 She was a Senator at Belfast University, Belfast, County Antrim, IrelandG.1

     Ellen Branchfloer Hovell was born in 1856.2 She was the daughter of Dennis de Berdt Hovell and Mary de Horne.1,2 She married Ernest Bevir in 1882 at St. Georges Hanover Square, London, England.1,2 She died in 1929 at Basingstoke, Hampshire, England.2
     From 1882, her married name became Bevir.1
