     Captain John Bevil Acland was born on 14 March 1890.1 He was the son of John Edward Acland and Norah Letitia Nugent Bankes.1 He married Marjorie Guernsey, daughter of Herbert Guernsey, on 7 March 1914.1 He died on 14 November 1966 at age 76.1
     He was educated at Blundell's School, Tiverton, Devon, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Pacific Coast Rangers, Canadian Forces.1 He fought in the First World War, serving in France.1 He gained the rank of staff officer in the Pacific Command.1

     Charles Edward Bankes Acland was born on 24 December 1906 at Dorchester, Dorset, EnglandG.1,2 He was the son of John Edward Acland and Norah Letitia Nugent Bankes.1 He died on 28 December 1982 at age 76 at Shaftesbury, Dorset, EnglandG.2
     He was educated at Blundell's School, Tiverton, Devon, EnglandG.1 He was commissioned on 4 February 1926 with the rank of 2nd Lieutenant.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant on 4 February 1929.2 He gained the rank of Captain on 29 January 1938.2 He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Major on 4 February 1943.2 He gained the rank of Temporary Lieutenant-Colonel on 23 April 1945 in the Duke of Cornwall's Light Infantry.1 On 1 March 1957 he was court martialled and dismissed from the service.2
