Scope and content of the national programme for official statistics
Norway has a national programme that defines and delimits official statistics.
Requirements for official statistics
All statistics included in the programme must satisfy a set of common quality requirements.
Authorities responsible for official statistics
In addition to Statistics Norway, 15 public authorities are responsible for the production of official statistics.
The Committee for official statistics
The Committee shall contribute to an expedient and effective national statistical system.
