“This recent statement, assuming the AP is correct, obviously was intentional,” the judge said when the

sanctions for this blatant, dangerous disobeyal of a clear court order?”

He added: "I'm very protective of my staff, as I believe should be I ... I don’t want anybody killed."

Trump attorney Christopher Kise jumped in and said the comments were actually about Michael
Cohen, who is currently testifying at the civil fraud trial.
“Ibelieve he’s talking about Michael Cohen, who is even more partisan,” Kise said, acknowledging
Trump's team is “well aware” of the gag order Engoron imposed Oct. 3 after Trump took shots at

Habba also suggested that Cohen may be upset at Trump because he did not receive a job at the

But Cohen said he was satisfied working as Trump's special counsel and self-described "fixer."

“There is no shame in being personal attorney to the president,” Cohen replied.

Trump attorney gripes AG team isn't being 'respectful' in heated moment
By Ben Kochman and Kyle Schnitzer

Lawyers on both sides clashed during Cohen's cross-examination by Trump's attorneys.

Trump attorney Christopher Kise cried foul about “respect” inside the courtroom after an objection
about whether some evidence should be admitted.
“They’re not being respectful to me,” griped Kise, following a heated back-and-forth with AG lawyer
Colleen Faherty.
He then pointed at the attorney general’s lawyers seated across the courtroom.
“That group of attorneys over there, they asked your honor to sanction me!” Kise hissed while
gesturing.
“Ihave suffered through an awful lot through the hands of the attorney general in this case. It is
extraordinary," he added.
Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Arthur Engoron told both sides that he wanted everyone to
“respect” each other inside the courtroom.
Last week, Engoron forced Kise to apologize to two female lawyers for his “disrespectful” behavior in
court.

Itcame after Kise sparred with the judge’s clerk Allison Greenfield, and questioned the intelligence of
Faherty, according to Law360.

AG: Trump falsely claimed $8B net worth in failed bid to buy the Buffalo Bills
By Kyle Schnitzer and Ben Kochman

In his failed attempt to buy the Buffalo Bills in 2014, Trump wrote in a letter that he had a net worth “in
excess” of $8 billion, according to a letter presented in court by the New York attorney general's office.
“Please let this letter serve to represent my bid to purchase the Buffalo Bills football team for One
Billion Dollars,” Trump allegedly wrote to Morgan Stanley, which was handling the sale of the NFL
team.
The letter goes on to claim Trump had a “net worth in excess of Eight Billion Dollars” backed by
financial statements, which included “highly liquid assets” and “very little debt.”

At the time, however, Trump’s net worth was just $2.3 billion, the AG's office said.

Cohen, Trump's former attorney, testified he sent a financial statement containing Trump's inflated
wealth total to the Buffalo Bills "in order to demonstrate his ability to purchase the team."

Cohen denies 'hush money' payments to ex-Playboy model Karen McDougal
By Ben Kochman

Cohen, during his testimony earlier today, tried to distance himself from "hush money" payments made
to ex-Playboy model Karen McDougal — despite having previously admitted involvement in a guilty
plea with federal prosecutors.

"Inever paid Karen McDougal," he said Tuesday, while testifying that he had “complicity” in making
hush money payments to Trump’s more well-known alleged lover, former porn star Stormy Daniels.
Trump's former personal attorney and "fixer" also claimed from the stand that he has never evaded
taxes — despite pleading guilty to that charge as well at a 2018 hearing in Manhattan federal court.

“There was no tax evasion,” Cohen testified. “At best, it could be characterized as a tax omission. I

McDougal and Daniels were allegedly paid in 2016 to keep quiet about their claims that they had
affairs with the then-Republican presidential candidate. Trump has long denied their claims.
The alleged payments are a key part of the Manhattan district attorney’s upcoming criminal trial against

“Iwas tasked by Mr. Trump to increase the total assets based upon a number that he arbitrarily

AG counsel Colleen Flaherty then asked Cohen to clarify how he and Weisselberg decided what totals
to include in the financial filings.
