    COMPOSITION WRITING SKILLS – TIPS TO BE FOLLOWED.
    • Understand the given topic clearly.
    • Think what you have to say about it and say it in
    your own words.
    • Do not attempt flowery language. Use simpler
    words.
    • State your own ideas with confidence.
    • Your own ideas can be proved by examples which
    is suitable.
    • Eliminate unwanted information keeping the word
    limit in your mind.
    • Polish your ‘Starting’ and ‘Ending’.
    • A touch of imagination add beauty.
    • Avoid repetition of points.
    • Never use a metaphor, simile.
    • Never use a falling phrase, scientific word if you
    can think simpler equivalent.
    • Pay attention to the type of composition, i.e.
    o Writing a short story with the given beginning.
    o Telling an experience.
    o Giving an opinion – For or Against.
    o Description of an Incident.
    o Story writing in the given picture.
