By studying in the Riga Technical University (RTU) Master's programme «Material Science and Nanotechnologies» at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Technology (FNST) students will gain not only knowledge in the development of new materials but also in entrepreneurship and innovation. This programme will prepare leaders of entrepreneurship and innovation in materials technology, promoting the commercialization of new materials. In the new academic year, FNST will implement this program in collaboration with the RTU Riga Business School (RBS).
Riga City Council, Riga Technical University (RTU), University of Latvia (UL) and Riga Stradins University (RSU) signed a Memorandum of Cooperation to jointly develop the «Knowledge Mile» area, attract both Latvian and foreign students and promote Riga as a European city of innovation and knowledge.
The Riga Technical University (RTU) Grand Graduation Ceremony, during which approximately 1000 Bachelor, Master and Doctoral degree holders will receive their diplomas, will take place this year on 28 June at 18.00 at Kipsala International Exhibition Centre. This will be the eighth RTU Grand Graduation - the grandest event of the academic year, when all RTU graduates will receive their diplomas at the same time and celebrate the end of their studies together with the faculty and their families. The event will also be streamed live on the RTU website and Facebook.
