The impact of every production matters
The tremendous impact of a single feature film made in Georgia spreads to hundreds of businesses statewide. Productions spend a significant amount on businesses who do not solely service the screen production industry, such as real estate, hospitality, health and medical, and utilities. #gafilm #gafilmjobs #gafilmindustry For more details, go to https://lnkd.in/gqxWin_c Georgia Department of Economic Development DeKalb Entertainment Commission Explore Gwinnett (Tourism & Film Office) Georgia Film Academy IATSE Local 479

Cats, Death and Chocolate... Those are just some of the themes we explored with University of Exeter Archaeology and History Department on their Research Away Day. We love giving these workshops where we take a team out of their comfort zone and into the creative space. In this case, we developed 10 short films about what the department is doing. It's great to see everyone really get stuck in with the challenges... AND of course you learn so much by just speaking to historians and archaeologist, like: the connection between cats and overfishing; how we can learn more from lies than from truths; and the history of magic... Good work everyone! The films will be ready soon...
Had an amazing Research Away day at the Hall today, which will result in some cool short videos 😍 Facilitated by Guy Natanel from Preston Street Films. 👀 Watch this space!

When there is a product available to protect our most valuable assets, our children, it should be the minimum standard in every state's BOCA code guidelines for schools and all safety measures. When choosing security hardware, owners often prioritize convenience and cost over long-term safety. They may not fully consider the profound impact of a single active shooter event, including structural damage, the rebuilding process, the perception of safety, and potential lawsuits for failing to protect when solutions are available. As one of the thousands of trained crime prevention and security specialists in law enforcement, I can assure you that criminals are observant. They know that if a baseball can break a window, a bullet will do far more damage. If schools install Armoured One glass on all entry points and ensure staff and students do not prop doors open, it will significantly deter a potential intruder. Additionally, considering where else inside the school Armoured One glass should be installed is crucial. A locked entrance reinforced with this glass can compel a shooter to move along rather than waste ammunition trying to gain entry, thereby buying valuable time. From my 35 years of experience, a shooter is unlikely to expend numerous bullets on one door. They will likely move to another door, requiring time to reload and increasing the chance of getting caught before causing harm. This delay provides those inside the building time to call 911, Run, Hide, and prepare to Fight. With Armoured One glass, updated safety policies, procedures, and drills, perpetrators are less likely to target such a well-protected school. Preventing entry is a significant part of the battle won. I urge you to examine this product and compare it to your current school security measures. Then, contact Tom Czyz for more information. Finally, ask your school district, "Why don't we have the best protection available?"
People wonder how our window film is different than our competitors. Check it out! #schoolsafety #schoolsecurity #windowfilm #activeshooter #education #dosomething #doitright Great work Isaiah Czyz.
