All major Georgia film studios are members of Georgia Screen Entertainment Coalition (GSEC), firmly establishing the organization as the unified voice of Georgia’s film, television and digital entertainment industry. GSEC ‘s mission is to promote, protect and advance Georgia’s production ecosystem and increase awareness of the significant economic impact of the industry across the state. Members include all major studios, crew, workforce development and educational institutions, film commissions and leading industry infrastructure businesses. GSEC is the go-to resource for legislators and policymakers for information and insight on how public policy –– especially the innovative tax incentive –– may affect the industry. GSEC is an affiliate of the Georgia Chamber of Commerce.

The film industry continues to send a clear sign that Georgia is an important destination for film and television production. According to data released today by the Georgia Film Office, 273 productions came to our state in fiscal year 2024, sending $2.6 billion flowing into Georgia’s economy. It’s a strong indicator that our robust infrastructure, top-quality crew and state’s stable tax incentive has set the stage for Georgia’s bright future in entertainment!
