Our PTG Office Olympics Highlights!

The 2024 PTG Office Olympics brought some competitive fun to our Mondays! From ping pong ball carry to flip cup, penny stacking, and even a cornhole face-off to break a three-way tie for third place, the games were fierce and the camaraderie even better. It is with a heavy heart that we share the news of the passing of our dear friend and colleague, Eric Haney. Today, our PTG family feels a little smaller, and our hearts ache with the weight of this loss. Eric was not just a member of our engineering team; he was a husband, father, grandfather, and a part of the fabric that makes PTG special. His absence will be deeply felt by all of us. Eric spent his adult life as a programming and electronics engineer, dedicating his talents to our industry with passion and precision. Beyond work, Eric followed his curiosity and love of the unknown as the founding leader of the Munroe Falls Paranormal Society, sharing that same enthusiasm with those around him. As we mourn his passing, we are reminded of the incredible person Eric was—someone who consistently went out of his way to spread kindness, lift others up, and bring a smile to everyone’s face. To honor his memory, we encourage everyone to carry forward his legacy by embracing those same qualities. Let’s spread kindness, take care of one another, and make someone smile today, just as Eric would have done. Eric, you will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

It is with a mix of gratitude, excitement, and sadness that we announce the departure of Bill Fons, our PTG President. Bill has decided to pursue an amazing opportunity that aligns with his passion for AI in the AV industry.   Bill has been more than just a leader to PTG; he has been a visionary, guiding our company with insight and stability over the past five years. Under his leadership, we have seen remarkable growth and industry recognition. Bill's dedication, strategic thinking, and unwavering commitment to excellence have been instrumental in shaping the culture and vision of PTG. His ability to inspire those around him has set a high bar for all of us (Not to mention the countless laughs we had along the way).   Bill's departure marks the end of a significant chapter in PTG's history, but it also opens up new possibilities for both Bill and our company. We are excited for him as he embarks on this new journey, and we wish him nothing but the best in his future endeavors. His legacy at PTG will always be remembered.   To ensure continuity and maintain our positive momentum, we are pleased to announce that Deb Zupancic, our Executive Vice President, will be stepping in as Interim President. Deb's extensive experience and deep understanding of our company make her the ideal leader to guide us through this transition period.    Please join me in expressing our heartfelt thanks to Bill for his immense contributions and in wishing him continued success and fulfillment in his new role.
