🌟 Announcement: Bill Capen for SMTA President! 🌟 Hello everyone! 👋 If we haven’t crossed paths yet, I’m Bill Capen, and I’m excited to be running for SMTA President. But let’s talk about you! Why am I running? Because of you—the brilliant minds in the electronic manufacturing world. 🌐🔌 This industry thrives on innovation, and I’ve soaked up wisdom from every person I’ve met during my 36 years in the field. From problem-solving to collaborating with amazing teams, I’ve learned valuable lessons. Now, I’m asking for your vote. 🗳️ Why? Because I’ve served in various roles at the SMTA chapter level, including Treasurer, Secretary, Vice President, and President, as well as being a past SMTA Board of Directions as part of the Strategic Development Committee. This gives me a deeper understanding of our organization’s needs and opportunities. And as a liaison, I promise to champion every member, every chapter, and everyone who dreams big. In the wake of the industrial revolution, our society has evolved to rely on advanced communication and decision-making tools. Now, as we automate intelligence digitally, we’re shifting the boundaries of what’s possible, akin to how mass production impacted artisanal pottery and manual typesetting. Today, while pottery and printed materials are still valued, making a living from their purely mechanical aspects is challenging. This evolution highlights the need for leaders to recognize and adapt to the changing landscape of intelligence and communication, where higher level creativity and unique contributions become key. To navigate the advancements in intelligent systems, we must establish principles for moderate, conscious oversight and build robust trust chains. By integrating edge technologies and closed-loop systems, we can balance the need for information and process autonomy with security and enhanced user experience. Creating a psychologically safe environment, fostered by this trust, will encourage wider curiosity and creative exploration, essential for progress in this dynamic digital landscape.

And if you encounter a toxic environment where you don't have the power to influence it? According to Simona, simply leave the place (been there, done that, twice, ouch). If you missed the Leadership event yesterday at Lucerna in Prague, you definitely don't want to miss Petra Dolejšová's next speech. I've never met such a humorous lawyer. Lawyer and fun? Do they go together? In her case, definitely. You might also discover that paying too much attention to legal aspects in the beginning of your business might not be the best idea for its growth. From Michaela Chaloupková, a member of the Board of Directors at ČEZ, you could learn how important it is for you and your team to work with your talents and values. These are crucial areas we also find very important for our clients and users on our TopLeader platform. From a different angle, Colonel Otakar Foltyn spoke about bravery in our society nowadays and how important it is to stand up for the values of your country. What are they? Values you can find in fairytales, such as fairness, kindness, honesty, courage, and others. Well done to the organizers for putting together such a diverse group of inspiring people. Day 3 of TTN’s Strategic Planning Session We’ve reached Day 3 of Taykwa Tagamou Nation’s strategic planning session, where the focus is on aligning the vision and objectives of TTN’s owned entities. It’s been an engaging and productive few days, with our team bringing their best ideas to the table to ensure we are positioned for long-term success. Today, we delved deeper into our economic development strategies, exploring how each of our entities can contribute to the overall growth and sustainability of TTN. The discussions have been rich with insight, and it’s inspiring to see the commitment of everyone involved. As we move forward, the collaboration and innovation displayed here will undoubtedly drive us toward our shared goals. The result? A sea of bland, interchangeable declarations that fade into corporate white noise. But fear not—I have a tale that will illuminate this point brilliantly." They were crafting what they believed to be the perfect encapsulation of their corporate ethos. Neil Raden sat quietly, observing. When the executives finally settled on a version they all agreed was suitably impressive, Neil dropped his bombshell: "Gentlemen, those are your competitor's vision and mission statements." The silence that followed was deafening. Faces flushed red with embarrassment quickly turned purple with rage. Within hours, Neil was fired."
