In September, Ritika Iyer and I attended the Designing Just Futures Summit hosted by the Boston Society for Architecture. With several workshops and a walking tour on the second day, we were able to learn more about equitable design practice along with others in Boston's design community. We are grateful for opportunities like these to network with other designers who are also seeking ways to advance spatial justice in our cities. Thank you Amenta Emma Architects for sponsoring our attendance!

There is a lot of discussion about neurodiversity in higher education. Yet, classrooms that are designed to make room for students who think differently are rare. Amenta Emma President-Elect Michael Tyre recently wrote an article for Inside Higher Ed, in which he shares his experience designing a classroom for Smith College that does just that. #DesignMatters #Neurodiversity #HigherEdDesign #AmentaEmma #DesignPrecisely
