This album has a very special place in my heart. In the end of 2014 I still was a student, I didn't have a permanent job, I rented a small room in our family friend's apartment, I had there a bunch of vinyls (now my collection is way bigger), old TV, Sega and books. We had our own indie pop band called Party Lions, and in December 2014 we released our first and last (unfortunately) EP. We hadn't gaven any concert yet, but later we did them a lot. Right at that time Walk the Moon dropped this masterpiece. And I remember my first listen to it was late at night, it was almost morning, I played Sonic the Hedgehog 3. I don't know why but remembering all this stuff feels so uplifting, what a great time it was. Great 3 years were coming, 2015-16-17. Album still sounds like a great example of this genre. So fresh and juicy. Along with Smallpools debut album.
