The Late Late Show

The Late Late Show is a TV chat show from Irish broadcaster, RTÉ. First broadcast in July 1962, it is one of the world's longest-running late night talk shows and is regarded as an Irish television institution. The show is broadcast live in front of a studio audience on Friday nights between September and May. Irish comedian Patrick Kielty is the show's fourth permanent host, preceded by Ryan Tubridy, Pat Kenny and Gay Byrne. The late Gay Byrne presented the show for 37 years, from its inception in 1962 until his retirement in 1999.
