I don't mind that Wuthering Waves is a blatant rip-off of Genshin Impact. I mean, if you're going to copy a game, at least they picked a good one. But man, there are a couple of things that really grind my gears.
First off, the voice acting is just plain terrible, especially in English. It sounds like they grabbed random people off the street and asked them to read lines. It's so bad it's almost funny, but mostly it's just painful to listen to.
And then there's the optimization. This game is a mess in that department. People are constantly complaining about FPS drops and not being able to open the game. Even if you manage to get decent FPS, it's still super laggy and has all sorts of latency issues. It's frustrating, especially when you've got a good rig that should be handling this without breaking a sweat.
So, yeah, it's got potential and all, but these two issues really need to be fixed if it wants to stand a chance. Right now, it feels like a diamond in the rough - very rough.
