Stellar Blade Review
good
Stellar Blade is great in all of the most important ways for an action game, but dull characters, a lackluster story, and several frustrating elements of its RPG mechanics prevent it from soaring along with the best of the genre.

Great game so far. People who know what they are getting into will enjoy it thoroughly. Any complaints about the story are over exaggerated

Stellar Blade is an entry in a genre that doesn't get enough love. The hack and slash. It's a beautiful marriage between the quick paced action of Devil May Cry and the contemplative patience of the Souls genre. I am still playing the game, so the estimated length of the game listed here by the official review seems to be drastically understated as I've already put roughly 20 hours into the game and still have plenty to go.
The controversy is massively overblown. Fans have spoken with their wallets, and it seems, even after censoring the blood due to the influence of studios and journalists still insisting that adults be treated as children, the game has exceeded all expectations of any first time triple A release for a developer. I understand people being upset by this decision, but still choose to support the developer. The censorship isn't as blatant as some are claiming, aside from the blood, which is an odd decision to remove. But I accept it, as long as I see God of War soon censored in the same way, (because that'll happen lol) [sarcasm.]
In terms of the controversy surrounding the game's design, this game also serves as a wonderful testament to corporations, studios, and social media brigades trying to strong arm their audiences into some moral position of art consumption, and the audience has spoken. Let us reiterate the words we've heard from the other side when art embraces what they love to see,
"If you don't like it, don't buy it. But please, do grow up so the rest of us can."
Fair pacing after the starting area, incredibly challenging yet balanced (fair) combat, loads of unlockable costumes, hairstyles, weapons, different skill trees, and for those who were looking forward to the "fan service" (such a weird term) the skin suit is still in the game, uncensored, in all its physics abiding glory. The game is fantastic. I deduct a point because the opening area does go on for quite a bit, but once you get past it, it's non-stop from there.

Be prepared to be obsessed, it gets in your mind, in the sweetest way.. you play as basic or complicated as you feel, a real fun ride, with much to discover in the environments, and even more in the wardrobe! Combat can be challenge which is very nice, you must learn the patterns, and use the parry, beta energy, and combos to secure your win.. well worth buying the ps5 for..just don't update ifya can.. dam you Sony!

This game was absolutely amazing. I binge played it in a few days and I am replaying it with NG+.
There are 3 endings. One of the endings does not answer a lot of questions. Try to replay the game to hear more of the content!
I can't say enough good things about this game. One of the best–if not the best–games I have ever played. It is similar to NieR: Automata, but there is more customization you can have for your characters.
This game has SO many collectibles, it would take forever to find them all. It has fishing, 72 outfits to find or buy for EVE, memorysticks, and lots of other lore databanks.

This game lacks what it takes to be stellar but everything it does gets enough right to be great.
The story is one that is clearly derivative and predictable. There may be confusion over what the characters even mean. But it still lands as a good story.
The combat is so engaging and has enough systems to keep you engaged throughout a play through. Additionally the level of customization options to difficulty and accessibility serve all audiences.
The other parts of this game hit home most times such as varied puzzles and hunt quests. There are moments where the polish fades but move on or try enough and you end up seeing the forest through the trees.
I couldn’t recommend this game more to anyone who enjoys action games.
In the end my wife liked all the outfits that Eve had on. Albeit I didn’t unlock any such as the soda can reward.

Game looks and runs great. Combat is also a ton of fun but starts to becomes rather repetitive later in the game. Story is awful as is the flat and stilted dialogue. Some musical tracks are excellent while others left me confused as what was happening ing on screen didn’t match the tone of music. Play it but wait until it’s around $30.

Stellar blade isn't a flawless game but is a must Play title! First big title of shift up studio have a great game play, Ear-catching soundtracks and awesome Set Pieces. Characters Design in this game are Unique but Characterizations isn't Enough. Generally, Stellar Blade take some inspirations from Soulsborne games e.g. Rest Seats, combat and ect that I named it Soul's lite. Boss Designs in Stellar Blade are amazing ( Specially Karakuri 🤯 )
After all these words, it's time for the negative points. Stellar Blade Suffer from slow Beginning, Insufficient Characterizations and defect of innovation.
My Score for this great First big title of Korean Shift Up studio is 9/10 and experience it, is necessary for all Nier and Soulsborne lovers.
