Alan Wake II: Night Springs DLC Review
great
Alan Wake II: Night Springs veers from ultra violence to tense survival horror, before settling into the multiversal madness of the series at its best.

While each of the 3 episodes of the Night Springs DLC are tonally and thematically distinct, they each exude a sense of intense creativity that couldn't be pulled off by any other studio than Remedy. Together create an unforgettable package that more than lives up to the base game. "Number One Fan" had me laughing constantly, "North Star" was a clever and fun horror investigation, and "Time Breaker" is a gaming experience that will stick with me for a long time to come. The final episode in particular had several stand out moments that successively blew my mind with what I thought was possible in modern video games. Every time I think I have a full picture of Alan Wake II, Remedy throws open a door I hadn't even considered and leave me with new clues of their narrative to decipher, and eager for more.

More meta and more insane than ever!!! A freaking hallucinatory ride of an expansion! I still can't believe Alan Wake II exists, let alone getting this even crazier expansion!!

This expansion DLC was excellent if you are a fan of Remedy games. If you have the deluxe game all you need to do it update the game to access expansion. The Night Springs Expansion is 3 separate playable episodes of Night Springs TV show written by Mr. Wake and Hosted by Mr. Door. In each episode you will play as different characters from the Remedy Game universe. No spoilers here but you play from 3 characters from 3 different games from Remedy games past. This was a real cool way to experience something different, Unique and unexpected after months of waiting for Night Springs DLC to release. Now we wait for The Lake DLC.

If you liked the Main Story, you’ll enjoy this. It was fun and short, so not deep. Enjoyed the set pieces.

Same problems like in the main game, combat is sh!t... It was about 3 hours so its really short, and for me it was bit of fun because of the characters but overall a meh dlc.
