By far what Orum does best compared to all the other dialers we tried was it's ability to make many calls quickly. Compared to the 2nd best dialer we found, Nooks, Orum was quicker and more accurate when it came to detecting voicemails. This meant that it we spent less time having to manually click through and more time talking to people.
Orum also a unique feature that we didn't find anywhere else. It's ability to go listen to voicemails and phonetrees. Orum can go through phone trees to find the right people by using the extention you give it or dial by name directories. In addition it can listen to someones name in the voicemail and confirm that it's the right person. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The biggest disapointment with Orum and a glaring simple feature that most other dialers have is the lack of a simple dial pad for people to punch in the numbers to call. To call someone new, you have to pull them from your CRM or a CSV, a very manual process for an often one off call. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As a seller: Browser based, easy to use, seamless between dialing reports and tool integrations. Increased connect rates through parallel dialer and hot numbers feature. Great for self assessment of calls through recordings, objection recaps, call history.
As a manger: Analytics are intuitive and help with coaching of sellers. Call reviews are seamless with Orum's ability to filter call history by disposition, objection, and result. Their customer support and success teams have been great in helping us adopt the tool and meet our needs.
I would recommend it to anyone making dials themselves or managing a team of sellers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
No tool is perfect, but sometimes Orum's AI feature can connect to non-humans, thinking it is a human, resulting in wasted connects.
During busy dialing times, sometimes there can be lags/bugs in the system, but a simple log out/log in typically fixes the problem.
Feature requests:
- If possible, i'd also like to see their be more options for phone numbers to call from. Only carrying a bank of 10 at a time can be limited.
- ability to "split-in" and take calls with sellers while on the salesfloor. "Shot for shot" sessions where seller takes a connect, trainer/manager takes next connect and alternate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The combination of simplicity and effectiveness of the platform which brings out the best of the SDRs. It works great, just set it up and have your team on the platform get the best results. The customer support is great, they are on point on providing the best solutions to any issues you run into. The salesforce integration also works seemlesly and one doesn't need in depth knowlesdge to set it either. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is hardly anything to dislike, It has come a long way and constant improvement are being done every year. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I would say that if you are looking for something to help you make quicker connects to prospects that you would love to have conversations with for your company then Orum is 100% for your company. I have been using Orum for Over a year and it is wonderful. It has helped me learn so many things and also helped with getting me more at bats for the company that I work with. I would recommend it to anyone thinks that their business could benefit from growth with their outreach. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't think there is really anything that I do not enjoy with Orum. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I can dial and reach prospects so much faster than I ever could with Salesloft, salesforce, or any of the other tools we have used. Not only can I dial multiple people at the same time when working a cold list, but even when working an active cadence or hot list, the one at a time dialing auto recognizes voicemails and saves me time inputting those dispositions. the AI notes work very well and save me a lot of typing during a call, allowing me to focus on my sales prowess and work on the call. It doesn't easily recognize other languages for voicemails e.g. spanish and french. if they could fix that it would be great! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Orum is one of the tools you really need in your tech stack. From having your SDRs on sales floors together, dialing together, building culture together to access to multiple phone numbers across the country to the enrichment capabilities. I can go on and on about Orum. The best part of Orum from a user perspective is the capability to dial up to 10x more people and keep track of all the objections. From a management perspective having the analytics at my finger tips, the capability to have full insight on how my team is progressing and having a Client Success Manager (Gi) who has supported me with much more than how to use Orum but how to look at our numbers better than what is on the surface. Gi, our Client Success Manager is one of the best and ensuring we are utilizing all the gold Orum has to offer!
In a matter of a few months my team's baseline has only increased higher and higher from month to month. If that's not enough, my team absolutely love Orum. Even the SDRs that identify as not technically advanced! So this is the tool for each and every user. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I can't even answer this question for you because Orum is aggressively progressive and have new functionality and features rolling out on a month to month basis. They are always on top of the next new feature. There is nothing to dislike here! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We use Orum every day to make cold calls, and it was easy to integrate into our daily routine. My team likes it because it's easy to use and makes their call tasks fly by. Orum's integration with Apollo was huge for us! Having access to contact data without having to upload a million CSV files is a game changer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Since my team started using the tool, there have been a few bugs. They seem to be resolved quickly, but prepping for calls only to have the tool glitch is disruptive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The way it handles parralel dialing and alternate dial from numbers. The platform is easy to use, just load up a list via CSV and you are good to go. There are bunch of other options like salesforce, google etc to use as an integration. The Implementation was a breeze and as a daily user, it helps me track all my daily numbers with a click on a button. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes the UI lags a bit, however which platform doesn't. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Orum is great when it comes to making the best use of ones time. You can knock out so many extra calls in a short time period and depending on your personality, you might even be able to multitask while using it. You get to pick numbers with different area codes which helps a lot and you can also have several different numbers at one time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Only a couple things but:
1. Issues with tracking documentation or ease of organizing documentation
2. Occasional sound issues when using airpods (which we were told not to use but my company doesn't supply a better headset option at this time) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The best part of Orum is the ability to reach out to multiple leads in a manner that best fits you with Orums customization settings while dialing. It makes it really easy to work from home, have a bit of freedom in my comfort space, and still be able to produce above expectations. I use Orum everyday I work and it was simple change in my daily process. Once we did the Orum walkthrough and had a few days to play around with the software it was easy to learn and begin to use. It also ties in directly to our SalesForce software so all of our records matchs no matter the software we're on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There isn't too much not to like about Orum. A lot of my issues were your typical new software user issues in terms of just gettign familiar with the platform and the ins & outs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I like best about Orum is that Orum works how it was described and sold to us. The software it uses is fast and effective at dialing contacts and and getting hundres of dials in per day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are two that could make Orum better. One is a manual dialer pad. It would be nice to pick an area code from our list and manually dial contacts by entering in their number into a dial pad. The next thing is improving the latency of connecting to a live call. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The words 'game changer' are used way to often....but Orum truelly is a game changer. We've tested out other diallers on the market, this one beats them hands down. This we love:
- Customer service
- The sales floor
- Ease and quality of integrations
- Robustness of the AI dialer
- The fact we've tripled the number of conversations the team are having! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Can't think of anything I dislike about the platform! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The multiple dialler functionality, how easy it is to log calls and connect to the CRM.
Also love you can work collaboratively with other callers on the Salesfloor Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Unable to multi-dial all countries, this would be really helpful Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The ability to make parallel dials with voicemail drops and set the parameters do dial between 2-10 people at a time depending on the pick up rate frequency Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Built for "legacy" tools like Outreach and Salesloft Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The amount of dials I can make! I make anywhere from 200-500 dails/day with 5 dials at a time, and my call block(s) run about 1-3.5 hours in a given day. The interface is very intuitive, I love how it hyperlinks to LinkedIn profile right as someone picks up. I even ran an analysis for my leadership team when they questioned whether my team truly needed it, and I attributed 41% of my *qualified* pipe (total pipe generated is > $2M/quarter) to Orum dials, and I'm confident those dials are irreplacable without Orum, as there are simply not enough hours in the day to make 200-500 efficiently, especially in a 3 hour window. Further, customer service is highly responsive and very pleasant to work with.
I also like how well integrated is it with outreach as it links to profiles and creates notes and dispostions for calls automatically. Net-net is SO much time saved + pipe generated Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
1) It's expensive. However, see my "what I like" section for why the justification is a no brainer for my BDR team
2) It occasionally will lag/bug out on connects. However, I brought this up to CS and they were very responsive as well. The platform is still evolving and I'm not very concerned about this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Being able to make multiple dials at once really helps me save time. Being in Sales we already have so many other tasks to handle. So any short cut to help can make my KPIs are helpful.
There is always customer support available.
Site access is very easy.
I use it at least 3 times a week. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Having to remember to click the record button, If there was a pop up when a client answered, that would be cool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As an SDR manager it can be difficult to carve out time to listen to calls, get a good understanding of trends, where the team is getting blocked etc. Orum provides all the calling data at your fingertips, and pulls out insights to help guide and coach the team.
It's easy to set up - the team love it. The Orum team are ehlpful and responsive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The new analytics page is a little clunky. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My team has been able to 2x their productivity using Orum. I love how the parallel dialer has minimal delay and gets me and my team into instant live conversations! We are booked way more meetings now than we were before. The best dialer on the market hands down! I also loved working with the Orum team and my sales rep Skye was awesome. I really appreciated her transparency throughout our time working together. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish that more of the the numbers that we have on our prospects were hot numbers because those numbers definitely have a higher connect rate than the others. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Orum gives me the flexibility to spend time focusing on enabling my team of BDRs, look for leads, manage our CRM and STILL be able to exceed my call numbers. I cannot express how much Orum saves me on a day to day basis. Their support is also very helpful and quick to fix issues as they arise. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Higher parallel dial settings leads to less intentional outreach Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
5-10x the dials you'd normally do at once. And, before you think that's too much, there's nice productiviy hacks built it so you can quickly orientate yourself to whoever picks up, so it doesn't have a 5-10x feel for the prospect being dialed. Further, great features and workflows around detecting humans vs. machines, metrics around the call funnel, and objection detection for coaching. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing on the dialling side really, would be nice if they one day expanded into Linkedin Automation or something else like that for example but their bread and butter is calls and worth it for the calls alone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Super easy to use, allows me to reach higher number of dials per day with ease. I love being able to track my dial to connect, connect to conversation rate etc. I appreciate the new features of hot and cold numbers. Overall a great product that I rely on everyday. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
the dispositions some of the features change from salesloft usage to outreach and I prefer some over the other. If orum had more control over these settings could standardize best practices that BDR's appreciate the most. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Parallel dialer maximises output, reduces effects of poor data by reducing time manually dialing Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Can only paralell dial English speaking numbers (aus, uk, us) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Orum has a simplified and streamlined onboarding process that enables users to take advantage of hte product pretty immediately. The customer support is phenomenal, in the rare situations someone needs support. It's easy to use and integrate into our CRM. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
No key items that I dislike here! The only nice to have would be being able to create tasks directly from the platform into our CRM, but I think that would be impossible to build! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Cold calling use to take up majority of my day, especially if perspectts are picking up that day, with Orum I can focus more time on prospecting and finding the right people Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing really. Could maybe use a couple features but overall great Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
